Part 19- Sharing Her Story

A few days past with no casualties. They decided to take it slow and just relax around the house. Swim, go on walks, chill on social media, and occasionally play Minecraft. Laylanna was very appreciative of everyone taking it slow. There had been a few streams, and Laylanna even decided to stream to catch up with her followers. She didn't feel like telling chat the story of how she broke her leg, so she just decided to chill in the chair. People came in and out but other than that she chilled. People could see that she had changed. She knew they were gonna comment on it so she ended her stream when it got bad. This whole experience had been really scary and she needed to share her story. There are so many girls out there who have experienced this and for her— she needed to share. So she did what she knew best. She sat down and recorded a video.

The video was just her and Sapnap. She wanted no one else. And she just wanted to sit down and talk. She told her brother the plan and he supported her 100% of the way. She carefully got up and pressed record

"Hello Everyone. This is going to be a different video. As you can tell, I have my brother Nick, or better known as Sapnap here today and I'm going to be talking about a very heavy topic so if that may be triggering please click off. First your going to need some background information. 9 months ago I got into this relationship with this seemingly really nice guy. He would buy me things, call me cute pet names and tell me he loved me. And I made the mistake of believing him. Around this time I had decided that I wanted to be a content creator. He was super supportive for the most part. At the time I hadn't revealed that Nick was my brother to the world, so the very little publicity I was getting was from me. And he wanted to keep it that way. I eventually told everyone I was Sapnaps sister, and that's when things started to go down hill. He initially told me that they only like me because of my brother, and it hurt. I tried to block the words out, and for the most part I did. It lasted nicely until I decided that I wanted to stream on twitch, and he lost it. He lashed out on me one night saying I couldn't and all sorts of terrible things that have left scars on my soul. When I started to get popular he got even more toxic. Trying to get into my head, saying nasty things. And he even started to abuse me. He hit me some, and he beat me some. He even went as far to yell at me and tell me no one will ever love me. And that's why I was so hasty to break up with him at first. With help, I did it and got a restraining order. Now usually I wouldn't tell you a name, but since it has been on local news, I'm okay with telling you. His name is Milo Reves and he is a terrible person. Now we get into the story. About a week and a half ago I flew out to Brighton to do a meet up with some of my friends. We were having such a fun time and decided to do a cooking stream. We obviously didn't have food because we are unresourceful, so we went to the grocery store. We split into teams and went to get ingredients. I was with Tommy, and he had to go into the next isle over. Then an old man approached me. He was just a red flag. He gave me the creeps so I tried avoiding him but he came up to talk to me. He asked me if I had a boyfriend, and kept telling me my body was great and it made me uncomfortable. He then grabbed by butt and squeezed it. I screamed and then he tried to take me away. I tried to resist. I screamed and yelled and squirmed to buy myself time. Tommy luckily was in the next isle over, so he dropped everything and tried to get me away, not before he yelled for help. Tommy got me away from the man, and Nick, Dream, Wilbur and Quackity all restrained the man, while Tubbo and Niki informed the store about what happened. I went out to the car with Tommy to calm down. And the man who attempted to kidnap me got taken away by the authorities. That's why the suprise stream got postponed. I decided I was up for the cooking stream at this point, so that's we did. Everything was fine and dandy until after the stream there was a knock on the door. It was an Airbnb so we were clueless. I opened the door to see Milo. That's right, the same Milo who's my ex. So right away, I was scared. Not only did he ignore the restraining order, he FLEW TO ENGLAND, to try and abduct me. Nick came over along with Tommy. Nick new, he went off at him and there was fighting. I tried to talk to Milo but that pissed him off more. He grabbed my arm and tried to take me. I was scared for my life. Like seriously terrified. I don't remember much, but from what I was told, he was yelling at all the people in the house, and trying to get me in his grasp. I fell into Tommy's arms. He then got so mad that he jumped on my leg, and broke it. At this point I was in so much mental and physical pain it was almost unbearable. When he broke my leg, I screamed in so much pain. Nick had told Karl to call the cops and they quickly. I was taken over to the couch, and Tommy noticed my leg and rushed over to get Dream. Nick was filling the cops in on the whole situation, so Dream and Tommy took me to the hospital. And I got my leg fixed. I did break my leg. And I'm gonna be on crutches for a while.

I'm telling you guys this because this is something to be aware of. There are going to be predators out there. This world unfortunately is not perfect, and it can be dangerous for some people. So please protect yourselves.

I'm not sharing my story for views or pity, hence why comments will be off, but I am posting this because I am a survivor. If I didn't have friends, there's a likelihood I could've been a victim of so much worse. So please protect yourselves"

And with that she turned off the recording. She sighed into her brothers arm and he pulled her in a hug "Laylanna I am so proud of you. Your story is going to help so many people. Your amazing. I love you"
