The next day the girls are on their way to sell more cookies to avoid going in the Box Of Shame.
"Unicorns, I love them Unicorns, I love them Uni, uni, unicorns I love them Uni, unicorns, I could pet one If they were really real And they are So, I bought one so I could pet it Now it loves me Now I love it" Agnes sings from beside Edith. Ivory was holding onto Margos hand and calmly walking beside her.
The go to approach Vectors house. Gru seems them as he spy's from the hole nearby he was just blown into.
"Don't you... What the... Good luck, little girls!" He says to himself.
"Whoa! Cool." Edith says as a camera comes out to identify them.
"Hi! We're orphans from Miss Hattie's Home for Girls." Margo says politely and I smile at the cameras.
"I don't care. Beat it!" A voice says through the speaker.
"Come on! We're selling cookies so, you know, we can have a better future." Margo persuades. Ivory tries to give the camera her best puppy dog eyes.
"Wait, wait! Do you have coco-nutties?"
"Yeah." Margo replies.
And like that they are let inside. Much to the surprise to Gru who was nearly blown up. Multiple times. And is currently in a hole from said explosives.
" Light bulb. Dr Nefario! I'm going to need a dozen tiny robots disguised as cookies!" Gru says through a phone.
"What?" Dr.Nefario questions.
"Cookie robots!"
"Who is this? - Oh, forget it." And hangs up.
~After Grub Goes To The Orphanage~

"Well, it appears you have cleared our background check, Dr Gru. And I see you have made a list of some of your personal achievements. Thank you for that. I love reading. And I see you have been given the Medal of Honor and a knighthood." Miss Hattie says as she talked to Gru and looking at his profile.
(A/N sorry for the interruption but does anyone else get reminded of Professor Umbridge from the Harry Potter series with Miss Hattie?)
"You had your own cooking show and you can hold your breath for 30 seconds?"
While they are fighting over whose typing the minions cheer on their fight and a bunch of random keys are clicked, shaking up on Hatties screen.
"What in the name of... What?" And she seems the letter appearing.
"Well, here's the dealio. Things have been so lonely since my wife, Debbie, passed on. It's like my heart is a tooth, and it's got a cavity that can only be filled with children. I'm sorry. You are a beautiful woman. Do you speak Spanish?" Gru lies convincingly.
"Do I look like I speak Spanish?" She deadpans.
"You have a face como un burro."
"Well, thank you!"
"Anyway, can we proceed with this adoption? So, so excited!"
"Please tell Margo, Edith, Ivory, and Agnes to come to the lobby."
~Up in the girls room~
"I bet the mom is beautiful!" Margo says while she packs.
"I bet the daddy's eyes sparkle." Edith spoke next
"I bet they will be kind." Ivory shyly says. She really wasn't sure what to expect and she was afraid.
" I bet their house is made of Gummi Bears." Agnes says excitedly
Edith and Margo look at her curiously while Ivory is distracted packing.
"I'm just saying it'd be nice." She tried to justify.
She suddenly picks up a Cheeto.
"Aww. My caterpillar never turned into a butterfly."
"That's a Cheeto." Edith replies,
"Oh..." then she ate it. Ivory looked at her weirdly while Edith and Margo were concerned.

~Back With Miss Hattie~
"Well, Debbie was a very lucky woman."
"Who's Debbie?" Gru asks forgetfully.
"Your wife." She says plainly with a questionable tone but was distracted but the girls coming in.
"Hi, girls! Girls, I want you to meet Mr Gru. He's going to adopt you. And he's a dentist! Yeah!"
"Hi. I'm Margo. This is Edith, Ivory, and Agnes." Margo introduced politely as the oldest of the group.
"I got your leg, I got your leg!" Agnes runs forward and latches onto his leg. Ivory stays beside her sisters, she didn't want to bother him.
"Okay, that is enough, little girl. - Let go of my leg. Come on. You can do it." Gru tries to coax her off of him but fails.
"Higher! - Higher!" As Gru lifted his leg trying to get her off.

"Gru: Just release your grip. Wow! How do you remove them? Is there a command? Some nonstick spray? Crowbar? Okay, girls, let's go." Ivory holds onto Ediths hand this time while they get into his odd car and drove to his home.
