Chapter 12

HYDRA

The name makes me wanna kill myself. I hated the person I became because of Pierce and I can't change who I am.

I will never forget the trauma , lies, and most of all the torture. I was born with my powers but kept my powers from my parents for a good reason.

At the age of 5 , my father started to become physically and sexually abusive towards me and my mom would let him. My father ending getting drunk and raping me while my mom wasn't home so later that night, I ran away to my aunts house and she ended up taking me in and she found out about my powers and she taught me how to control them.

I enrolled in school at the age of 11 but dropped out after a few months , cause I didn't feel like I belonged in public school with NORMAL kids and QUITE FRANKLY I'm far from normal in my eyes. However, I did meet these girls named Tess, Haydn, Keira, Bailey and Meghan and they have powers also so we all became close friends kinda quickly.

Since I've moved in with my aunt I've been happy, my mom hasn't tried to contact me which is good cause I don't think I could see her again. I recently found out that I can see inside people's heads,I can see the fears and dreams and sometimes I can read their minds.

One day I was walking down the sidewalk and I saw this little girl sitting in her own filth with cans as a bed and some old newspapers as a blanket.

So I walked up to her and said "It's ok, I won't hurt you" while wiping some dust off her head and she flinched , I helped her out of her box and I told my name as she showed me her face " My name is Shauntel and I'm 11 , what's your name" I asked her smiling but my smile instantly faded away when I saw her bruises, marks, and burns.

I waited patiently for her to respond and she finally answered "M-m-m-Molly" and my smile came back as I took her hand before saying " It's nice to meet you molly! Where's your family they must be looking for you right?"

I could tell she was thinking of something to say cause she didn't say anything for a moment and I understood as we started walking together.

"I'm going to take you to my aunts house to see what she can do , follow me" I told her and from that moment on she was in my life forever and it was my duty to protect her at all costs but I did not know our time was going to get cut short.

My aunt was kind to her and we immediately accepted her even though we didn't fully adopt her. I knew she was gonna be the little sister I've always wanted.

Me and my aunt taught her the basic necessities of human life, I brought molly to meet the rest of the girls and they accepted her and we all became lifelong friends.

Until one day, I was walking home from the store a couple blocks away from home because I got Molly a gift. The occasion wasn't special I just wanted to get a gift. So I was walking by an alley and I got pulled in and someone put something over my mouth then everything went black.

I woke up in a cell not knowing where I was and I was panicking for myself and my girls cause I didn't know if they were captured like me or if they were even alive then this man came in my cell with some guards

"My name is Alexander Pierce and I wanna welcome you to HYDRA ,I am also the leader of the organization , while you are here you will obey every command and you will be trained by the finest people, I expect you to follow the rules and if you don't there will be severe consequences do you understand?" He says looking at me waiting for an answer

"Y-Yes" I said looking up him before looking back at the floor

"Great, You have training tomorrow morning so get some rest and I will see you in the morning" Pierce said smiling before leaving with the guards
