A dysfunctional Family

Vacation time pt.1

Third person POV

Sunday

Everyone was hanging out in the living room as usual , joking as usual as they moved in between the kitchen and living room. Shauntel and Hadyn were cooking dinner then Shauntel got a text from Sam saying he was coming over with his girlfriend and she responded with yea me and Hadyn are cooking so do want some and he texted nah we're good thanks tho big head then shauntel put her phone down.

"Guyssssss Sam and his girlfriend are coming over"

"I forgot he even existed" Loki said sitting with Molly

"It's ok everyone did" Bucky says shrugging before hugging Shauntel

"Can you guys not get all lovey dovey over the food please"

"Tess get your girl"

Tess just shook her head before laughing then Sam and his girlfriend walked in and everyone greeted them then went back to doing what they were doing. Sam came into the kitchen and bugged Shauntel and occasionally glanced at Hadyn while she was grabbing the place. Sofia introduced herself to the girls and started talking to them while Sam was in the kitchen.

"Sam got a girl I'm shocked" Shauntel says playfully

"Oh hush pee brain, What's been going since I've been gone"

"Um" Shauntel paused for a moment before speaking again " A lot" She chuckled

"I see you and Bucky are together again"

"Yea , we haven't killed each other yet" Shauntel said while putting the food on the plates " You sure you and Sofia aren't hungry"

"Yea I'm sure , when are we leaving for Mexico"

"Tomorrow"

"Alright , hey Hadyn"

"Hey sam" Hadyn said smiling

"How are you"

"I'm good. You"

"I'm pretty good"

"That's good ,Guys food is ready"

Everyone came rushing into the kitchen to get their food , then sat at the stool that was at the kitchen island or at the table. Everything was pretty much how it was before but with the girl that Sam is dating. She's pretty nice and definitely nothing like Phoenix and the girls were extremely happy about that. Moreover, everyone was hyped about this vacation because they were going out of state with their loved ones. It is honestly a very well needed vacation without distraction from fury or anyone else for that matter.

" Sam you going on vacation with us tomorrow" Keira asked getting up and putting her plate in the sink to wash it

"Hell yes" Sam says grabbing everyone plates so he could start washing dishes

" Wait where are we going" Sofia asked confused

"We are going to Mexico Sof"

"Huh ,never been" She says shrugging her shoulder before going to get something out the pantry

"No shit sherlock that's we are all going" Bucky said under his breath but Shauntel and Meghan heard it

"Bucky" Meghan says elbowing his side trying not to laugh

"What , I'm being honest" He says shrugging before walking to the kitchen

Meghan sent a meme to the group chat with just the girls that referenced what Sofia and Bucky said and they started busting out laughing leaving the boys including Sofia confused. Sam shook his head and just continued washing the dishes with the boys helping put stuff away.

"Movie night" Molly suggested

"Yes, um someone go pick a movie"

Loki quickly vanished and then came back with a movie that everyone agreed on. Then he and Molly vanished to get the movie room setup for all of them while the remaining people were in the living room or kitchen. Sofia was rummaging through the fridge for something to snack on and she grabbed one of Bucky's plums , Sam quickly but nicely grabbed it from her before Keira said something.

"Plums and anything that's our favorite food is totally off limits until you become apart of the family or unless we share with you"

"But Sammy" Sofia look at Sam with a pouty face while Hadyn was cringing over the face Sofia made

"No"

"Sam pass me the plum"

Sam passed the plum to Shauntel and she cut it in half then gave half it to Sofia and kept the other half for herself. Sofia said thank you while Shauntel smiled at her and she felt Bucky staring at her. She'll deal with him later. Everyone headed to their rooms to start packing for Mexico because they leave tomorrow and come back Saturday.

"Doll"

"Yes" Shauntel called from the closet cause she picking out her outfits for this vacation

" Where are you"

"In the closet baby" She giggled because Buck sounded confused

"You know we are only staying for a week right" Bucky came in the closet and stood behind her admiring her like he always does , when She's not looking of course

"Yes I know that" She said turning around to come face to face with Bucky "But I wanna be comfortable" She says looking at him

Even though Bucky and her have been together for awhile , She still gets butterflies when he's around because she doesn't know how she or the rest of girls got lucky really well. Hadyn and Tess are dating but still. She could see them starting a family and getting married then attending everyone else's wedding because they are a very dysfunctional one but that's what makes them a family and she couldn't be happier.

"What are you thinking about babydoll" Buck said snapping shauntel out of her thoughts

"Nothing" She says smiling before walking past him and into the bedroom so she could put her clothes in her suitcase

" If i could look inside your head with your permission I would" Buck said hugging her from behind

"Even with my permission I wouldn't let you" She says while folding her clothes then placing them in the suitcase

"Why'd you give Sofia half of the plum"

"I was being nice babe you should try it some time"

"Being nice is definitely not my thing"

Shauntel laughed then closed her suitcase and went to set it by the door next to Bucky's. Shauntel went to the bathroom , closed the door and locked it, then sat on the floor and had a mental breakdown for a few minutes , after she got up and left the bathroom. She heard laughing and footsteps running in the hall so she went to go check , she saw everyone playing cops and robbers. Children she thought to herself. She turned around and then found herself being run into by Bailey.

"You guys having fun"

"No but you ok"

"I'll be fine now get off me" bailey laughed then got off shauntel and pulled her up then took off running off because Thor was basically walking while singing her name as he turned the corner. Shauntel made her way to the kitchen to grab some water. After the girls were found they called it a night because they had to be up early if they wanted to catch their plane on time so they all went to their rooms and went to sleep
