A dysfunctional Family

Chapter 10

Backstory

I was born on Skrulls before the time of Captain Marvel. I was 12 years old when I was taken from my home planet and placed on Earth, which, I didn't know I was there at the time.

When I arrived at Earth, I saw nothing but a black room——I screamed, looking for a door. I thought there wasn't one until someone opened a door and I could see the light through the crack of the door opening. I didn't know the person that was walking in, it was just a dark figure standing in front of me.

"Hello darling, what's your name," he said turning on the light.

I was too scared to speak, I looked around the empty room, seeing if there was something out of the blue, I was so young, so afraid.

"Where am—'' I was cut off by him.

"i asked you a question," he said sternly.

"i'm Hadyn," I answered.

"good."

"I'm Alexander Pierce"

I started training a bit at a time to get back into shape. I already knew how to shapeshift but i didn't wanna tell them my ability.

2 years ago

I went with my dad (Talos) to earth to visit Monica and Maria. Monica was my best friend at the time, we would play hide and go seek all the time. I would sometimes turn into Maria to make her mad. I would practice my shapeshifting with Monica. Talos was very proud of me. The first time I went out in public in my natural form, everyone would look and point at me and my dad. I thought I was ugly and I should change. We went out to go see Fury.

"How was the walk here?"

"It was fine." Talos said

"Everyone was pointing at me Fury." I said thinking back on what happened

He didn't respond, I was worried I might have upset him or something. I didn't, he knew why they were doing that but he didn't want to say.

3 years later

It was my 13th birthday but I didn't celebrate on earth with my family and friends, I was in a cold, dark cell, I was forgotten. I cried all the tears I bundled up, I cried until I couldn't even open my eyes. Finally after 24 hours Pierce came back, he told me i have training. I went into the training room, I fought and killed whomever walked through that door. I fought nonstop for three days only getting one drink after 10 hours. After my week of nonstop training was up, they put me back in my cell but there was someone else in there, another prisoner. They looked up and said "you're a monster." I looked down at the floor and sat down on the cot and fainted.

I slept for a day, I woke up to a jolt, it was a girl about a year younger than me.

"i'm here to get you out," she said.

"im shauntel."

"i'm hadyn," i said quietly.

"Did my father send you? His name is Talos." I said following her out the cell

"I have no clue who that is and we've got to hurry." She said starting to run

"we have to catch up with the others."

"there are others!?" as a started to run as well

Once we got out of the base, I got into a car with other girls. We all introduce ourselves.

"I'm Meghan."

"im tess."

"im keira."

"im bailey."

"im shauntel."

"i'm hadyn."

A few weeks later

We were all hanging out when Shauntel told us she found something or someone out in the forest. Shauntel came back with a little girl all covered in dirt, she said her name was Molly.

We all had one thing in common, we had abilities.

12 years in the future

Im 24 now, i live in a great condo in the middle of the city looking over the streets. I still fight, and I get to see the girls a whole lot more than I used to.

We all ended up together in the end. We got a call saying we won the chance to spend two months with the avengers.

I'm still searching for my father and Monica. I know i'll find them someday.
