afterlife (DR V3 SPOILERS!)

chapter 8

"Kokichi? Is everything okay?"
Shuichi looked at me, with a confused face.

"Y-yeah, everything is okay." I nodded at Shuichi, and i walked away. Makoto followed me.
"Makoto.. is the tear-magic dangerous?"
I asked.
Makoto nodded.
"The person who can see you, will die 1 week after that the tear magic was used."

I was shocked. shuichi will...die?

I cried.
Very loud.

I felt hands on my shoulder. The hands were Nagito's hands.
"Are you okay Kokichi?" He asked.
I wiped away the tears. "Yeah.."

I decided to follow Shuichi. He was investigating some places now.

Shuichi and i were in my room. Maki was there too. I saw how they looked
at my stuff.

And then...Shuichi collapsed.
He laid on the floor, passed out. My eyes widened. "Wh.."

"SCHUICHI?!" Maki ran over to him, checking his breathing. Shuichi was breathing normally.
A second later, he woke up.
"Wh-what happened.." He stuttered. He looked around him.
"Shuichi! You collapsed and passed out. Are you okay?" Maki asked him. I saw her worried face.
"Yeah..im okay. I dont understand what happened either." Maki gave him a hand and he stood up.

"I-im going to my dorm to rest a bit." He walked away.

I knew what it was. I knew why he fainted.

He was dying.
It was now day 4/7.
He would die in 3 days.

*time skip*

The next 2 days were the same as usual. Exept of the fact that everyone was investigating stuff.

Shuichi passed out more often.
Should i tell him? No..i cant. He cant loose hope!

*Time skip*

"I want a class trial." Shuichi suddenly said.
"B-but.. no one died!!" Monotaro screamed. The other monokubs agreed.

But no one was able to change Shuichi's mind. He wanted the class trial.

We finally arrived. I walked to my place.
"Shuichi, why-" Tsumugi was cut off by Shuichi.
"We need to re-open a case." Shuichi said with a straight face.

"Which one?" Maki looked at him. Confusion was visible on everyone's face.

"Rantaro's case."
Himiko let out a gasp.
"W-why?" Tsumugi stuttered.
She was panicking. As i expected.
I knew the truth. She did it. She was the one who killed Rantaro. I think Shuichi found out.

*Time skip :3*

"..RIGHT THE FUCK HERE!!"

What was going on?
Tsumugi just dissapeared in a big cloud, or something like that.

The mist finally dissapeared...but...
Who we saw, wasn't Tsumugi...

"IT'S ME! JUNKO ENOSHIMA THE 53TH!"
The girl with the big, pink pigtails laughed.

The mastermind....Tsumugi...

"T-Tsumugi?!" Himiko was scared.
I was scared too.
I knew that she was the mastermind..but i didn't expected this.

"Nah, it's just a cosplay!" Tsumugi switched back to her normal self.
"A...cosplay?" Maki was shocked. I never saw her like this before.

*time skip because im lazy :p*

"We'll end Danganronpa with our own hands!!"
Shuichi yelled.
I felt a warm feeling in my body.
Was this..the feeling of...hope, mixed with despair?
