I have risen from the dead.

George heard the door open and any form of hallucination and trance he was in dissappeared, like fanning a smoke. The brunette groaned in frustration and looked at the person who entered the room, but he was confused when he saw Callahan, who was panting, in front of the door.

"Call- Dr. Callahan?" George said, but was more of a question as to why the scientist was here. "What are you doing here?"

Callahan raised his hand and point upwards that was an action that tend to say as 'wait'. "Clay wants... you to be there... next to him..." the scientist said, still out of breathe.

George was confused. 'Me? Clay wants me to be next to him?' He blushed at the thought but pushed it down.

"But why?"

Callahan just shot him a "just follow me", to which George accepted easily for the fear of being punished( but really, you wouldn't get killed for asking too much anyways, or really?) .

George and the scientist walked down the, mostly silent, hallway, and the brunette was now thankful that it wasn't silent anymore and he seemed to be relief with just the sound of footsteps. They kept walking until they reached the medical ward.

"He's in there," Callahan started. "don't worry, his name is plated on the bed so it wouldn't be hard to find. " (Callahan I should have let you know that I don't think D-Classes woukd be let in the medical wards but since I'm so kind with this romance story I'll let it slide)

George walked forwards, looking at both of his sides to see where h̶i̶s Clay is.

"Heya George," someone said to George's right, and at that George swiftly turned his head to that direction. His sad face faded and away and turned into confusion when he saw the face and his hair color.

'Uh, why does he look like an oreo except he doesn't have the last black part?' was what George came to mind and he slapped himself mentally for even thinking about it.

"Hi Dr. Clay" the 'what happened to you' saved for later.

Clay's lips dropoed down into a frown. "You don't have to be formal around me you know." the 'it hurts my heart' left unsaid and probably will be forever( or will it be?).

"Sorry" George said softly.

"No need to be" Clay smiled, and George's face turned pink.

'Goddammit, his smile really makes my heart flutter now huh.'

"By the way, what happened to you?" George asked, head down. He's in confusion as to how he was able to say it without a stutter forming in his sentence despite him being flustered.

Clay's face dropped and the room became silent that they could hear themself breathing. Tension was thick too that Clay felt as if his head was pounding.

"It was an accident" Clay finally said, the silence breaking but the tension still there.

"The machine activated and well," Clay chuckled before continuing. "I've turned into what looks like SCP-R4NB00".

"Is that the new SCP that you were talking about in that strange letter? The one with the 'readers' and stuff." George said, Clay's eyes averting to another direction with brows raised. Way to reveal it Clay.

'Shut up author,'

"Yes. Yes it is"

George just sighed and sat on a chair next to the bed.

"You really should have been careful you know."

"I know. But I was curious and this is what I ended up as."
