Chapter one

Carley was a normal eighteen year old teen girl from a small town in Missouri. It's her senior year. Carley has been dating this guy named Jake for two years now. Everything started out great the first year and a half, but lately all they do is argue and complain at each other. Safe to say, their relationship was miserable. Carley thought about leaving him all the time but she knew deep down she still loved him and that she couldn't bare to be alone. That's the same reason why Jake hasn't left. He loves her, but he likes the drama. He likes to see her hurt for him because it helps his self-esteem. Carley has minor depression, but when the time comes, she can have the biggest outbreak and its almost uncontrolable. She doesn't want to be alone because she doesn't want her bad side to get the best of her. She had a rough childhood. Her mom always put work before her family and that drove Carley mad. When Carley was seventeen, she got emansipated and moved in with Jake. That's around when the relationship started to go downhill. Living together, they found that they only liked eachother's company sometimes. 

It was a cold night in December when Carley was sitting at home scrolling though the comedy section on her Vine app. She saw a funny vine of this cute guy and noticed all the Star Wars stuff behind him on the walls. Carley clicked on his account and found herself going through all of his videos and falling in love with the kid. His name.. Brennen Taylor. That's when Carley started to follow all of Brennen's social medias and idolize him. One of his videos that really stuck with her was one where he talked about how he dated a girl that basically wouldn't let him have a life. She wouldn't let him do videos or hang out with friends because she was afraid that he would cheat or be with other girls. Jake gave Carley that treatment their entire relationship. Carley had Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and YouTube before they got together. He told her if she wanted to be with him, she had to give those things up because his jealousy. He didn't admit to jealousy but it was extremely clear. Another video that really stood out to Carley was one where he discussed how self harming isn't the way to go. He loves his fans; so much that he doesn't even consider them fans, but family. That made Carley feel really good about having her little crush on him. Carley had so much in common with Brennen. 

It seemed the more and more Jake pushed Carley away, and the more she watched and followed all of Brennen's social media, the more she found herself finally being able to pull away from Jakes chans. Carley had all her notifications turned on. When he would post a vine, her phone rang. When he would post a tweet or retweet, her phone rang. Carley only looked foward to Monday's because that's when Brennen Posts his hilarious YouTube videos. She tried to not be a crazy fangirl but she couldn't contain herself for much longer.
