Patter

A butterfly can't fly when it rains

It sits and waits, staring straight

Wishing it could go

The sky becomes light, clouds out of sight

The earth warms up very slow

Later that day, flowers awake

The butterfly decides it's time

He spreads his wings bearing the beautiful colors, preparing to soar

Up and up into the air, beware of birds, the coast is clear

Dive to earth, a field of flowers

Waiting, just waiting

The butterfly lands, takes his stand

And greedily starts to feed

Yum, yum, a belly of nectar, that's all he needs

Sleep, silence, serenity
