Tim was furious. She considered punching Harry in the face the next day, but it wasn't really his fault. She doesn't know this Cameron, but she already hates his guts.

She walked home dripping mud, frowning the whole way. She was clutching her bag so tight her knuckles turned white and she wasn't looking both ways when she crossed the streets. All she saw was read. On her way home, she came up with ways to kill Cameron.

Shove a sock down his throat so that he chokes.

Slit his throat with a plastic knife.

Pull his eyelashes out.(Wouldn't kill him, but it counts.)

Sighing, she pushed her keys into the keyhole, entering her house. She ran up the stairs, making sure Linda doesn't notice her arrival. If she saw her like this, Tim would have to explain and she had no explanation because she didn't know what happened.

He basically showered you with mud, she mocked herself before shaking her head. She stripped down and got in the shower. Tim cringed as she watched the mud make its way down the drain. She scrubbed herself until she was clean again.

Wrapping a towel around her body, she left her bathroom and went into her room. She changed into her pajamas, combed her hair, then laid in bed for hours. She had a book clutched in her hands, eyebrows furrowed as she read.

Reading seemed like the only thing she did in life, and frankly, she didn't mind at all. She loved reading. It took her to another place, somewhere better, where there was no boundaries or rules. It made her feel, mostly cry, but it's the thought that counts. Tim really loved to read.

Suddenly, her phone rang, making her frown because no one evet called her. Who could this be?

She grabbed her iPhone off her nightstand and swiped her finger across the screen. It was an unknown number.

"Hello?" She said, furrowing her eyebrows.

"Tim? Tim, it's Harry. I'm so sorry for today," She recognized his accent that made her slightly weak at the knees.

"How'd you get my number?" She ignored his apology.

"Phonebook."

"It's in there?"

"Yes. I'm sorry. I didn't know he was going to do that. I would've stopped him." Harry mumbled. Tim slightly smiled, playing with the hem of her shirt as she laid back down.

"It's fine, but if this happens again, I won't hesitate to break his nose." I warned. "He seems like a douche."

"He is," Harry said. Silence fell between before he spoke up again.

"So, am I forgiven?"

"You're forgiven."

"Thanks Tim," She could almost feel him smiling.

"You're welcome, friend,"

"We're friends?"

"Of course." Tim scoffed. Even if she met him two days ago, she considered him a friend of hers(the only one). He is a nice person.

"Yay." Harry cheered, making Tim laugh.

"Well, I gotta run, but I'll be seeing my friend at the library tomorrow, right?" Harry asked.

"Yes."

"Bye Timmy,"

"Goodbye Harry,"

Tim fell asleep with a smile on her face.

She woke up to a loud crash that made her sprint out of her bed faster than lightening. She ran down the stairs, her heart heavily beating in her chest.

"Shit," She heard a familiar voice curse. She reached the kitchen's door frame, sighing when she saw that it was Ashley. She was frowning, looking down at the broken glass scattered across the wooden floor.

"Are you okay, Mum?" Tim asked, carefully walking towards Ashley.

"This is stupid. How does this work?" Ashley clenched her jaw. "I tried to make breakfast. Didn't work out very well," She muttered.

Tim smiled at her Mum before giving her a hug. She made Ashley sit down as she threw away the broken china.

"I'll make breakfast. Is Mum awake yet?" Tim questioned, turning to the fridge. She pulled out eggs and orange juice.

"No, she's sick. I made her stay in bed," Ashley sighed. "I'm worried about her. I'm going to call work, I'm not going anywhere until I make sure she's okay,"

Before Tim could say anything, Ashley had already left the kitchen, typing on her phone. Tim smiled at Ashley's back for a second before continuing what she was doing.

Even though she was against it, Tim absolutely loved how her Mums loved each other.
