It was November. Abigail slowly opened her green eyes and yawned. It was early in the morning, but she loved to be up earlier on Mondays. The black haired girl looked around and saw Najida standing in front of her. She remembered Snape's words about her friend and guider. The Slytherin girl sat up in her bed and blinked. "What do you need?" she asked as gently as she could. The blonde girl opened her mouth, but closed it quickly, then, as Abigail could see, overthinked something before talking. "Drake Malfoy and I want to speak with you. He's waiting for you in the common room." Najida spoke with a small smile before leaving the room. Abigail sat in silence. 'Not now Snape detention things.' She got up and looked at the mirror above the drawer. 'Now no one can stop me from getting my friend back, act cool, Abigail.' The girl dressed into her common Slytherin robes and uniforms, then she put on her black cape she loved. She adjusted her long hair into a small ponytail and cleaned her face. "Ready." Abigail muttered and went outside from her dormitory, straightening herself.
The girl entered the common room. The air was breezy and she felt free, but suddenly, Abigail noticed the two blonde sitting on the sofa. She chuckled. 'Almost thought they were siblings.' She thought and walked to the two older students. "We owe you a sorry." Said Najida as Abigail sat down in front of them. "Yeah.. we were kinda rude." Drake gave a glance to Najida with a sigh. The young Slytherin nod quietly. "I forgive you two, but next time please don't make me break rules." She laughed and smiled with a small blush. Najida raised an eyebrow. "As a first-year guider, I won't." She smirked and stood up. Najida offered her hand to Abigail. 'Don't miss this, she is helpful.' Abigail thought, closing her eyes as she shook hands with the third-year girl. Drake stood up too and silently dipped his head as he gave a small smirk before walking away. "I guess it's settled with your little crush." Whispered Najida. Abigail groaned quietly. "You did this only for that?" asked Abigail a bit frustrated. Najida quickly shook her head. "Noooo I'm just kidding." She laughed and blinked, looking away from Abigail. "Just another good point." Najida muttered with a small smile. "I just respect him, shut up." Abigail rolled her eyes and smiled, looking at a big clock. Classes almost started, she wouldn't notice though, the common room was still dark, gleaming in dark green. "We should go to transfiguration." Abigail muttered and went outside. "Indeed." Murmured Najida as she combed her hair up and with a blink she went outside.
Abigail was grabbing her notebook and transfiguration book as the class ended. She was walking outside, not so frustrated. The class has been boring, Abigail didn't understand why transfiguration needed some extra job, but she accepted it. The girl was walking down the stairs when she met Clemens. "Copper!" chanted Abigail as she stopped, her green eyes looking into the light blue orbs. "Abigail?" asked the boy. "I was looking for you, I want to tell something." He spoke with a calm voice as he stepped down another staircase. The Slytherin girl nodded and the two students went to the quiet part of the corridors. Abigail was curious.'I hope not some confessions.' She drizzled. "What is it Clemens?" asked Abigail, worried, but curious. The light brown haired boy sighed. "Do you know what Drake said about you after you left to find Pepper?" he gently questioned. Abigail shook her head silently. "He called you a mudblood, a muggle in nice words. He said that you cheat on magic things because muggles could never be this good in first-year." He murmured, embarrassed that he had to tell this. "That's why I got into a quarrel with him." He whispered, rather to himself. Abigail felt shocked. She chuckled and sighed. "I'm a mudblood, that's true, not? But I am not cheating on any magic and I am.. Surprised that I can do magic.. Great'' She muttered and suddenly widened her eyes. 'Not again..' She thought, but managed to look behind herself. "Who's a mudblood here?" raised an eyebrow professor Snape who had mysteriously appeared behind Abigail. Clemens opened his mouth but the girl spoke first. "It's me, sir." She looked at him proudly, not caring about Clemens's reaction. "Class is starting and I do not tolerate kids hanging here alone in the dark corridors waiting for teleportation into the potions classroom." He monotoned before giving a glance at Abigail. He narrowed his eyes and dashed beside the young students, to the dungeons. Abigail sighed. If only she could understand this man..
"I can't believe Drake is like that!" muttered Clemens after he heard the story from Abigail of the morning happenings. Abigail hushed the boy as they entered the potions room. "Sorry for coming late." Looked Abigail at Snape, who just told them off to take a seat. Abigail quickly noticed that Najida wasn't there yet. She just shook her thoughts off, starting to listen to the professor. "Today, we are going to learn more about potions-" Began Snape, but suddenly stopped. A blonde third-year striked inside the room, as our character noticed, Najida, shaking, exhausted. "You're late." "I'm late. " Muttered Snape and Najida at the same time. Abigail chuckled. "Detention after class." The professor groaned as he returned to his monologue. The young girl returned her attention, she loved potions and couldn't care less about Najida nagging her. The professor told about Draft of living death, Abigail only memorizing some add-ons to it and that it's dangerous. Snape also told about Amortentia, which the young Slytherin found disgusting. 'Love is love, not potion.' She thought, rolling her eyes on the other girls. Abigail found Skele-gro really useful, she wanted to learn it soon. The girl yawned when Snape finished his monologue. The professor glared over the class, and the black haired girl only smiled, trying to give a hint that this class was interesting for her...
"Stay away from older Slytherins, please, Abigail." Muttered Clemens to the girl as they left the classroom. Snape was barely following them, but Abigail was sure he heard their talk, a bit. "But Clemens, they are my friends!" whispered the Slytherin girl."I know, I just know the history of Slytherins!" the boy groaned a bit louder. "This is the present Slytherin and we have courage to stand for our friends!" chanted Abigail, then she sighed, seeing the boy being taken down by her rash words. She was suddenly hugging Clemens who was rather shocked. "I'm sorry.. I just..." She whispered. "Kids could you let me.. Go?" Snape asked standing in front of the hugging duo who were getting in the way for the professor. Abigail stepped aside. "Sorry professor." She quickly muttered. Snape gave a... proud? look at Abigail, then faded away in the dark corridors. Clemens smiled at the young student. "I'm just glad you won't punch me after this." He smirked. "I'm more glad you won't after THIS." Grinned Abigail. "I forgive you, Clemens." "I forgive you, Abigail." Said the two students at the same time. "We should get going, forgiven friend." Blushed Clemens after a friendly silence. Abigail nodded and headed back to the courtyard where Madam Pomfrey was waiting for them. Abigail was glad she could see Clemens's first performance on his broomstick...
