After the accident, Midnight let me move in with her, and I've lived with her ever since. She was the one who told me who murdered my mother as well.

Apparently the League of Villains has a member named Tomura Shigaraki, who's quirk is decay. It would make sense, the way my mother's body was decaying like fall leaves on a foggy autumn morning.

That day, I found new motivation to be a hero. I would avenge her. I wanted to be the person who destroyed Shigaraki, once and for all.

And that's exactly why I'm standing outside of UA high.

This is where my journey begins.

I open the tall doors and step inside, the cool air brushing against my face as I enter the building. I adjust my skirt and tie, as well tie my long black curls into a loose high ponytail.

After a few minutes of searching, I find my classroom, class 1-A. I open the door and walk in.

Immediately, I am met by a man who looks as if sleep is foreign to him. His eye bags look almost drawn on, they're so dark.

He studies me for a moment, then turns and speaks to the class.

"Class, this is Kasami Otagata. Kasami, why don't you introduce yourself?"

I step forward, feeling the eyes of the class follow my every move.

"Hello. I'm Kasami. I'm a transfer student from Shiketsu High, and uh...I'm not sure what else to say."

"Your quirk?" He says, uninterested.

"Oh yes, sorry. Well my father was a mage, and my mother was a spirit conjurer, so I have both. My quirk is called Dark Pythoness, and it allows me to do the magic a mage can, as well as contact spirits and use their quirks to enhance my own."

"Woah, that sounds super cool!" Chimed a boy with leafy green hair and freckles from the side of the room.

He seemed energetic, and overwhelmingly positive. And for some reason, it was comforting. Like the warmth of a fireplace on a cold December morning.

I give him a warm smile and reply, "Thank you, um.."

"Deku! You can call me Deku!" he reassures me.

"You must be Aizawa then, correct?" I said, turning to the man with the dark eye bags.

"Yeah. Feel free to sit anywhere you'd like." He replies, motioning towards the array of empty seats scattered across the room.

I scan the room, looking for a place to sit. I decide to sit next to a boy with split-dyed hair and a burn scar on his left eye. Shoto Todoroki. I recognized him from the special testing, as we both got in on recommendations.

He sat quietly, eyes focused on the board which read, "Team Training".

His silence was somewhat relaxing, to say the least. His eyes were fascinating as well, but with a closer look I saw they had no light behind them. It was as if a darkness had consumed them completely. I felt for him, because as much as I tried to hide it, we were in the same boat.

My focus was suddenly pulled toward the front of the room as well, as Aizawa began explaining the exercise.

"For today's activity, you will be split into teams of three. Two teams will face off against each other in Ground Gamma. In the center of the training area will be a smoke bomb set to a timer. The smoke is not harmful, so don't worry about that." He explained. "The team on the north side will be trying to find the bomb and diffuse it, while also avoiding the south side team, who will be trying to capture them and trap them near the bomb. The exercise will be over once either the south team captures the north, or if the north diffuses the bomb first. Does that make sense?"

We all nodded our heads in agreement.

"Alright then. Let's start making groups then. Kasami, you're with Ochako and Shoto. Bakugo, you're with Tsu and Tokoyami. Deku, you're with Denki and Mina..." He announced, pointing at each individual student as he called their names.

In the midst of everything, I take time to assess the rest of my new classmates. Lots of them possessed considerably "flashy" quirks, such as a tail as large as half their body, strawberry-colored skin, tape dispensers for elbows, or softly-drooping eyes and the tongue of a frog. One of them actually had the head of a bird, which was interesting to say the least.

Looking around the room, I also recognized Momo Yayorozou, who was also in the recommendation tests. Momo had a conjurer quirk, which she did not have much control over at the time I saw her. Her intelligence however, is untouchable. Top of all her classes, reputable marks on all her tests. If there was one thing she excelled at, it was knowledge.

I also noticed a boy with yellow hair like the sun, and a dark black lightning bolt on his left side fringe. Most likely an electricity quirk, if I had to guess. I later learned his name was Denki Kaminari, and he was known as quite the flirt in the class. Interesting.

After Aizawa finished splitting us into groups, I turned to Shoto, who at the moment was focused on the boy with the green hair.

"So, looks like we're in a group together, huh?"

He turned to me, clearly unimpressed. "You were apart of the recommendation training, were you not?"

"I was, I remember you and Momo from it as well." I replied.

"Well then, this shouldn't be too hard. Although you are at a disadvantage due to the fact that you don't have much knowledge on our quirks, your control makes up for it." He stated, nonchalantly.

"Thank you?" I said, not sure whether to take that as a compliment.

We were interrupted by a girl with round cheeks and hair the color of hazelnuts. Her demeanor screamed energetic and friendly, which usually would have scared me off, but for some strange reason it was intriguing.

"Hi! You're Kasami, right? My names Uraraka, looks like we're teammates for today! You're quirk seems really cool by the way!" She beamed, her dark brown eyes glossed over with what I could only assume was fascination.

I felt my cheeks begin to warm, as I pushed down the unfamiliar feeling.

"Yeah, thanks by the way. What's your quirk?" I asked.

"Oh! Whoops. My quirk is floatation. I can make anything float as long as I touch it first, but I have to hold my breath as it floats, so I can't do it for very long."

"Seems interesting. I think it could be pretty useful for the exercise, though. Although we aren't sure which team we are yet, it could be helpful no matter which one we play." I explained.

"Alright, now that everyone is acquainted, we should  make our way to the training grounds and meet up with our competitors." Shoto remarked, getting up from his seat.

"You're right, Shoto. Wait. Who exactly are we facing?" Uraraka asked, following him to the door as I followed closely behind.

"Oh, yes. We're practicing with Tsu, Tokoyami and Bakugo." He added, stepping into the hall.
