The Story of Adam Shalashaska

Early Years

Adam Shalashaska was born June 6th, 1878, to Avian Shalashaska and Olivia Joyce. He had one sibling, Alina Shalashaska, who was the older child. The family lived in the small village of Grant. It was a peaceful place, quite hidden from most other civilization; this didn't mean they were a completely independent though as they traded with the nearby Hanging Dog Ranch and any passing individuals. He had a fine childhood with a loving family.

January 16th, 1890: A man by the name of Edward Cornelius caught wind of the village, learning of it being on top of extremely valuable amounts of oil. With this information at hand he attempted to buy the land off of the residents, to no avail: bringing about the Grant Incident. It was a pure massacre, the only survivors were Adam and Alina, only making it out after Adam presumably killed Cornelius.

November 10th, 1891: Adam and Alina were moving from place to place, eventually running out of options, Alina formed one final idea to get her and Adam a permanent place to stay for now. Disguising herself as a man she enlisted herself and Adam into the United States military. Being a young boy Adam didn't have a big role but Alina was immediately deployed into battles.
