Sabrina sat in her room with her head against the window. She couldn't sleep, as usual. The thoughts of the mission were keeping her awake, even though she wouldn't even be in danger. "You'll come back, when it's over. No need to say goodbye. You'll come back, when it's over. No need to say goodbye," she sang to herself. It was 'The Call' by Regina Spector, a song her mom had sang to her as a lullaby when she was a baby. She often sang it to herself when she couldn't sleep. She closed her eyes and continued to sing when she felt someone watching her. She looked up and saw Bucky standing next to her. "You were singing," he said, sitting next to her. She blushed and nodded. She hated when people heard her singing. "You have a nice voice," he said. She smiled. "Thanks," she said, resting her head against his shoulder. "What song was that?" He asked. "It's called 'The Call'. My mom used to sing it to me when I was a baby." She said. Bucky nodded. "The words. They have a nice meaning." He said. Sabrina smiled and nodded. "I like the line 'no need to say goodbye'," she said softly. Bucky looked at her. "Me too," he said. Sabrina smiled and closed her eyes. She fell asleep on Bucky's shoulder. He looked at her, unsure how to move and not wake her up. He decided not to move at all. "No need to say goodbye," he whispered to himself softly, kissing Sabrina on the temple.

The next morning, Sabrina woke up in the same position she fell asleep in. Her head was resting against Bucky's shoulder, and his head was resting on her head. She smiled. He was asleep. He was cute when he slept. Sabrina watched his eyes open slowly. "You didn't have to stay here all night, you know," she said with a smile as he rubbed his eyes. He smiled. "I wanted to," he said. She smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "I like this new Bucky," she said. Bucky tilted his head. "What?" She looked at him. "You're so happy now. Seeing you happy makes me happy," she said. Bucky thought about it for a moment. "You're the reason I'm happy, you know," he said. Sabrina's smile got bigger. "And you are the reason why I'm happy," she said. Bucky smiled softly and kissed her on the temple. "Let's get some breakfast," she said, standing up and taking his hand. "I have training," he said as he stood up. Sabrina smiled softly. "We can walk to the gym together," Sabrina said with a laugh. Bucky nodded and held her hand as they walked to the elevator. "Out of order. That's weird," Sabrina said, reading the sign that was hung on the elevator. She shrugged. "Stairs it is," she said, beginning to lead Bucky to the stairs. He scooped her up, bridal style, and ran down the stairs. "Bucky!" Sabrina shrieked with laughter as she held on for dear life. He laughed and ran to the gym. They past the Avengers who were standing outside of the meeting room. Sabrina and Bucky didn't even notice as Bucky continued running down the stairs. The gym was in the basement. When they reached it, Sabrina smiled and looked up at him. "How did you do that without passing out!" She said with a laugh. Bucky smiled and kissed her on the cheek as he gently stood her on the floor. He flexed his biceps and Sabrina giggled. "Well, come find me after your training, ok?" She said, beginning to walk up the stairs. "I love you," she heard Bucky call. She turned around and smiled. "I love you too," she said, blowing him a kiss before she began to walk up the many flights of stairs.

When Sabrina entered the kitchen, Wanda and Nat were sat at the table, staring at her through narrow eyes. "Good morning to you two as well," she said as she grabbed a tub of raspberries from the fridge. She sat down across from them and began to eat some of them. "What did you do to Bucky and do we need to worry?" Nat said. Sabrina laughed. "I don't know. He said he loved me," Sabrina said. Wanda and Nat stared at her, their jaws dropped. "He did what?" Wanda said. "Don't sound so surprised. Don't act as if you didn't read my mind." Sabrina said, rolling her eyes. "Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, said that he loved you?" Nat said. Sabrina nodded. "Yup." "Well, that was unexpected." Wanda said. Sabrina laughed. "I don't know how he just.... changed so.... quickly," Sabrina said. "None of us do." Nat said. "Not even Steve." "Apparently Steve told Bucky that what he was feeling was love," Sabrina said, picking up another raspberry. "He spoke to Steve?" Wanda asked. Sabrina shrugged. "I guess so. I worry though that he's going to go through a bad patch soon. I mean, he's been so good for so long." Nat sighed. "There's no way you can know." Sabrina nodded. "Also, what's up with the elevator?" Wanda looked at Nat, who was turning red. Sabrina raised an eyebrow. "Last nigh-" "Wanda..." Nat said, glaring at her. Wanda brushed her off. "Last night, Steve and Natasha over here got a bit excited in the elevator." Sabrina looked at Nat in shock. "How excited are we talking?" Wanda laughed. "I didn't need that image in my head, but pretty excited. Anyways, it involved all of the buttons being pressed for too long and boom, broken elevator." Sabrina burst out laughing. "Natasha Romanoff, you naughty girl!" Wanda laughed. "I'm going to stop reading your mind right now Natasha. Nat! Get your head out of the gutter!" Sabrina laughed and passed the tub of raspberries across the table to the girls. Nat smiled and picked one up. "It was worth the broken elevator though," she muttered. "Natasha!" Sabrina said with a laugh as Natasha walked out of the kitchen, throwing them a wink before she left. "Am I the only one who isn't getting anything!" Wanda said. Sabrina laughed. "What makes you think I am?" Wanda rolled her eyes. "Maybe not yet, but soon," she said with a wink. "Sabrina! Think about something else please!" Sabrina rolled her eyes and popped a raspberry into her mouth. She laughed as she walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs. By the end of it, she was surprised her legs didn't fall off. She took out her phone and texted Natasha. 'I hate you. 48 flights of stairs in less than an hour! It better have been worth it 😡'
