"-all I'm trying to say is that, I really like you Lana. As more than a friend." You were rambling on and on about your feelings, sat next to Lana on a bench outside of the school doing some homework, and didn't notice that Lana was staring at you with a mixed look of adoration and shock. What you didn't know was that, she also had liked you for so long but didn't want to say anything due to you guys being great friends and all. It seemed like one of those cliché scenarios from a movie, where two friends like each other, but this was real life after all and now that she knew you liked her back, she had enough confidence to tell you how she felt.
"Y/N." Lana's soft voice cut you off from rambling, "I really like you too." She smiled at you, tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.
You stared at her before giving her a sheepish smile, "You do?"
"Yeah." And with that, she pressed her lips softly against yours.
