You and Lana were studying at a quiet table in the library at the school and as you were writing she took sneaky glances at you every now and then wondering whether or not to take the chance while you're both sitting together alone to ask you out. You felt someone looking at you so you glanced up noticing Lana wasn't doing any studying, she was the person looking at you. You felt your cheeks heat up under gaze and shook your head turning back to your studies. She seemed to snap out of it herself and blinked a couple times to do so and she also turned back to her work.
A few minutes later you decided to ask her what was wrong "Hey, Lana?" You asked, concerned for her since she zoned out for a while. She looked up at you, startled, not expecting you to say anything because no one talked for so long and she was really concentrated on her work. "Are you ok?" you asked, putting down your pen and focused on her.
"Uh, yeah...yeah, I'm great, sorry I just sort of zoned out I guess." She said somewhat hesitantly and smiled weakly at you. You smiled softly and nodded,
"Maybe that's enough studying for one day, we should get going it's getting late." You chuckled wondering how the hell you both got so carried away with studies because you'd both been in the library for almost three hours now and it was starting to get dark outside. She nodded and you both packed away all of your things, ready to leave. As soon as you both left the library you turned to Lana and gave her a hug. She returned the hug, trying not to blush. You smiled at her and then kissed her cheek, which took her off guard completely because she was not expecting that at all. Once you pulled away you said "I'll see you tomorrow Lana." and with that you winked and walked away, leaving her alone in the empty hallway staring at you with a love struck look in her eyes. She lightly touched her cheek where you kissed her and blushed deeply while smiling. She froze, realizing that this wasn't just a crush, she was indeed in love. With you.
