I stumbled.

No, no. Correct that. Halos matumba na ko sa lakas ng impact! Yung feeling na binato ka ng malakas. Binato ka ng katawan ng tao. Ganun eh.

If not for Alex's strong arms that gripped tightly against my waist, baka malamang kagaya na ko nung katawang binato sakin.

God, help her. The woman is now lying motionless on the floor. Talk about wasted.

"Hey, you okay?"

I grunted. Sumakit bigla yung ulo ko brought by the abrupt motion.

"Oh my gosh!" Squeaked a familiar voice. I slowly turned my head to see Chloe, eyes wide and hands covering her mouth.

"What happened?" Tanong ni Alex. A hand still encircled on my waist as we walked to Chloe.

"Inno! Dali, help her up!" Sabi ni Chloe as Inno came to the rescue and picked the girl up.

Wait, is that.. Laureen?

"Laureen?" As if reading my mind, Alex voiced out.

"Ump.." Inno muttered probably because of her weight. "Drunk pare."

"Ha? Eh magkasama lang kami kanina ah." Sabi ulit ni Alex.

Yeah, obviously! Enjoy na enjoy ka nga eh, nakalimutan mo ng kasama mo ko. Impakto ka.

"Bakit, that whole time na magkasama kayo, di ba kayo umiinom? Plus I think she grabbed a couple more when you came looking for Aubrey." Sabi ni Chloe.

"She doesn't look good."

"Tell me about it. We're taking her home. Hey! Don't look at me like that dude." Inno chuckled, "What I meant was, we're taking her to Chloe's house."

Kakainis! Sirang sira na yung gabi ko! She can easily get Alex's attention, sober or drunk! Iba ka girl.

I saw Sydney approaching kaya bumitaw ako kay Alex.

Ganito lang pala pantanggal ng alcohol effect no? Mabwisit ka lang.

I saw Alex's confused look ng lumakad ako palayo. Pero dahil medyo may tama na ko, nakita siguro ni Sydney na I was having a hard time na ibalanse yung sarili ko kaya sinalubong nya na ko.

"Eeew, A. You reeked of alcohol!" Sabi agad nya as I wrapped my arms around her neck and she tried to support my weight.

"Nagsalita ang di amoy alak." I laughed. "Uwi na tayo best friend. Inaaway lang ako dito."

"Positive."

"What?" I looked up at her.

"Lasing ka na." She looked around and shouted, "Alex! André! We're going home."

Medyo hilo pa ko, oo. Pero it's slowly fading. Nagngingitngit kasi ako sa inis!

André is driving, only because he insisted he's not drunk and that he can, with Sydney in the front passenger seat. I was obviously stuck at the back with Alex.

"How are you feeling?" Tanong ng damuho.

I looked out the window with my head still on the headrest. Nako ha, wag mo kong makaukausap muna.

"Bat ba kasi ang dami mong ininom? Hindi ka pa nagsabi sakin." He continued. Pero, bahala ka dyan. Mapanis laway mo. Che!

"Ciel, worried lang ako sayo." He used that tone! And that endearment! Nagpapa cute talaga ang gago.
