SPENDING THE HOLIDAYS AT Hogwarts was surely one of Y/n's favorite things about attending the school. The dinner was delicious, she spent the days relaxing, exploring the school, and all of that with her mates. Well, the ones who stayed for Christmas.
She only did it once prior to this year. Her first year. It was one winter break to remember. She, Thomas, Fred, George, along with Harry and the rest of the Weasley clan stayed at Hogwarts.
During those holidays Y/n and Thomas became such good friends with the twins. They snuck out to Hogsmade, they checked out the castle (Particularly places where Fred and George could have pranked Filch) and overall had a magnificent time.
On the other hand, for the holidays of her second year she went back home to her dads. Now don't get it wrong, she had a splendid time! With her dads, she met up with Thomas a lot, it just wasn't as... fun. She missed her friends.
This year however, Thomas and she would be staying at the school. Although The Weasleys would go home and none of their other friends would be staying either, it still sounded like a great Christmas break.

"See you soon!" Fred, George and Lee called out from a window on Hogwarts Express. The train back too London was leaving and Y/n and Thomas along with very few other students were saying goodbye to their friends.
The third years waved to them and when the train departed, began walking back to the castle. Or should I say running?
"Ready for the best Christmas break yet?!" Thomas asked, his excitement showing. Y/n laughed at his question.
"I don't think anything can beat the first year one, but we can try!" She said as she sped up leaving Thomas behind.
"Oh you did not!" He exclaimed playfully as he starting catching up with her. "Did I?" She spun around to face him with a smirk plastered on her face.

When they reached the castle it was about 11 AM. They decided they would relax in Gryffindor tower until lunch. As far as they knew, only two other Gryffindor students had stayed for Christmas, Harry Potter and a Prefect.
"What should be the first use of our map?" Thomas changed the topic as they crossed the stairs in the direction of the Gryffindor common room entrance.
