THE WEASLEY HOUSEHOLD was as busy as ever. Eight children were under their roof and they had to get to Platform 9 3/4 before eleven. Y/n was putting on her socks, two different ones might I add, while grabbing her things left and right, attempting to finish packing as soon as possible.

Some of the kids had started packing the night before, but that did not stop chaos from unraveling. Ron was frantically throwing things into his his trunk, as did Y/n. The Question 'Mom, where is...' and other variations of it, were heard non stop.

Harry, the only one who did not pack the day before, however was already done. Since he did not have many belongings, it was quite easy for him to put it all in one place. He was calmly eating breakfast with the eldest Weasley brothers.

Thomas was trying to close his trunk, however it would not do that for the love of Merlin. He tried with all his power but it just would not close.

"Y/n, could you help me?" He called her over.

Wearing  the mismatched socks, she walked up to him. She analysed the situation, and jumped up on the bed, and sat on the trunk. Now, it was in fact closed. Thomas adjusted the buckles, and like this, he was done packing. "Thanks."

"No problem." Y/n said from the over side of the room. She was carrying the textbooks for that school year. She was reorganising the way she packed for at least 10 minutes before the textbooks would fit. When they did, she exhaled deeply. "I'm done."

Thomas had been observing the frankly hilarious situation that entire time. He could not help but laugh. "Let's go get breakfast, shall we?" He chuckled.

"Definitely." She replied.

At 10:30 the Weasleys were on their way to King's Cross Station in London. Fred and George had not packed the day before, as they wanted (and did) use the chaos as a distraction, to smuggle Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes merchandise. In the end they all ate breakfast, more or less, and only forgot items that could have been sent to them by mail.

The large group arrived at the train station. They had just enough time to hop onto the train before it it departed. One by one, they ran through the wall, the magical entrance, and were on the platform in a blink of an eye. Ms. Weasley hurriedly kissed her children goodbye as they got onto the Hogwarts Express.
