A few days later~~Loki hadn't mentioned what happened the other night and you didn't bring it up.
It was a little less awkward than you would have expected. He hadn't dropped the flirtatious attitude, and you were somewhat relieved.
Today was the first day he came to the avengers HQ. The others had already agreed but you wouldn't be surprised if some of them ignored him.
"Y/n!!" Wanda greeted you with the same big hug as you entered the building. "Loki." She smiled but didn't make a move towards him. He gave a short nod to her, and remained behind you as the others found their way towards you, conversing back and forth about training, previous missions, etc.
You turned to Loki standing frozen, like a statue, his eyes glued to the floor, hands clasped behind his back.
"I should start training with Loki now, I'll see you guys later. Wands, wanna go out tonight?"
"Of course!" She nodded.
"Ok, see you later." You squeezed her an quick side hug before walking down the hall, a few steps down, and through double doors, Loki close on yours heels.
The doors led to the large training room.
You sparred a little, Loki was obviously stronger than you but he didn't know many fighting moves.
He mastered them quickly, no surprise. "Is this all, love? I thought it would be harder—"
You swung down, wrapping his arms around you, flipping him over, gravity your main force as he slammed to the ground.
Loki groaned, coughing.
"Still too easy?" You smirked, but it was wiped off your face as he pulled your legs out from under you, climbing on top of you the second you hit the ground.
The air was knocked out of you as you struggled to move. Loki hovered over you, panting, and chuckling.
"Got you." He pinned your arms down.
"Shove off." Your cheeks burned as you squirmed, bring your legs up to kick him off, him letting go of one wrist, lifting your hips quickly, shoving him to the side as you rolled onto him, straddling his waist."Ha." You stuck your tongue out at him, as he gave a look of annoyance, looking down where your hands rested on his chest.
"Oh-uh." You slid off, hiding your hands in your lap, face red.
"I didn't expect that." He rubbed his neck, sitting up.
You shrugged, grinning. For once you were getting along, no shock that it was while you could hit him and call it training.
"I would beat you if I could use my powers right now." He stood.
"I'm sure you could, but right now it's not about that." You accepted the hand he extended out to you.
"I see you're getting along great!" Thor walked over from the entrance, smiling widely.
Loki's expression changed from one of amusement to annoyance. What reason did he have not to like his brother?
"Hey," you greeted. "We were just finishing up."
"Ah, we're just getting started." He gestured to Steve, who walked in seconds ago.
You tossed a sweat rag to Loki, who took it with an odd look.
"Wipe your face." You wiped your own, waving to Steve as you left, Loki close on your heels. That night ~~
Thump! Thump!
"Not again!" You groaned, pushing the covers off. This happened at least twice a week, ending in you yelling at Loki to stop, his yelling at you to go away, though things eventually quieted.
You dragged your feet down the hall, knocking on his door.
"Loki! What now??"
Silence.
"LOKI!"
Sleep deprivation was not good for your already fiery temper.
Still nothing as the thumping continued. What could he possibly be doing???
That's it! You opened the door, the dark room looming in front of you. The bed moved and another thump.
"Loki!" You called.
You stormed to the bedside, flicking the lamp on, turning to the bed.
Loki tossed and turned, drenched in sweat, the covers half off, revealing his bare torso, thank goodness he had pants on.
"Loki!" You reached out, unwilling to touch him as you poked his face.
How does someone sleep so deep??
Half crawling onto the bed, you shook his shoulders, "Loki!"
His eyes shot open as he flew up, grasping you tightly in a hug, his face buried in your neck.
He was sweating but his skin was somehow still cold under your hands.
"L-Loki...?" You could only sit there in his grip, stunned.
He suddenly pushed you away, seeming to realize where he was finally.
"Please go." His head hung with exhaustion. You didn't move.
"Go! Get out! Go away!!" He looked up, his normally emerald eyes were almost pink, continuing to darken into almost red.
"Wh-wh...is something wrong?" You didn't realize how shaky your voice was gonna come out.
"GO!"
You backed away as he lunged forward a little, running out the door, slamming it shut, racing back to your room, locking your door.So dramatic lol.
Thanks for everything!! I'll get the next chapter out as soon as I can!
