'For god's sake help me!' Matt shouted but the little cabin that they were staying in was silent.
Silent except the shrieking of a man who had just seen his wife die in a dream and now - when he is awake and alert - seeing his wife in blood. There were little scratch marks magically appearing on her skin, like somebody was using and invisible razor blade on her. Matt had unzipped her bag and was pressing down on Lisa's wound on the intestine. She didn't move, that made Matt even worried. There were streams of tears flowing through his eyes and his unshaved cheeks had begun drain those tears in little droplets on Lisa's chest.
He moved rapidly, he nearly stepped on Jack's foot in order to get to the scarves. He got them all. And came back to Lisa. It was like a paranoid man trying to save a sleeping woman. Matt shouted in ear-splitting screams, telling Jack and Jenny to wake up. But they wouldn't. It was as if they didn't hear him at all. They couldn't in fact.
Matt began tying his blue scarf around Lisa's waist. Bringing it around her waist was a real trouble. But somehow, he did it, but the bleeding was all over her. Practically soaking her with it. Matt wanted to scream, he was wanted to just see her blink or do something. He tried to wake her up.
'Wake up, Lisa you've got to wake the fuck up! Please.' he pleaded, his voice getting a shrill tone as he shouted. Then there was a movement.
Jack had his own set of adventure. But this time as he had been walking in the line. He didn't ask any question. He puffed his chest and upped his chin, like a little child, and got ready to go inside the mysterious black hole. It was again like the previous incident. Time seemed to slow down when his turn was 3 people after. An odd this that he noticed looking at the people was that they all looked like mannequins. There was all sort too, the children, the young, the males, the females and the old. All of them but the represented the exact body, shape, and size. It was like all were the same but differently molded an odd word for an odd occurrence. But nonetheless when his turn came, he didn't seem to hurry it.
Instead he looked into the abyss. This was when his fear took control. His body began to get stiff, he gritted his teeth and tried to close his eyes, which of course was not allowed. He was now half-sure about this jumping into nothingness thing. He began to give up again. Clawing his inner self to snap out of the dream but something inside him told him that this was his only way to snap out, he felt afraid. He could see beside him, those alien-like creatures were going down without even an itch of fear and they seemed countless. He tried to take breathes but there was little air to breath. It was like getting stuck in a forever rotating wheel. His mind began to converge inside, it ached, and he could still see what lay below. A floating building in a vast empty space.
She was the first person to talk inside her sleep. But it had cost her a lot to do it. When she had slipped into her dreams it had been a rainy day. She was sleeping in her apartment back in Texas. The memory played in her mind like a film, but it wasn't in continuity rather it was pictures of it. The car zooming past, a sound of metals gnashing against each other, she could see sparks in her rear-view mirror, her slamming her feet on the break, the car coming to a stop and a loud crashing sound then she threw open her door and the Porsche rolling past her like a bumping wheel. The broken car coming to a stop, burning. Far away back she could picture her brother fallen prostate on ground. Her stomach lurching.
Then she could see two pair of dark red eyes, glaring at her from the sky. They were big as big as the moon, but they were snake-like in shape. Her head began to feel heavy, and she felt like falling down. Horrible pictures floated in her head. She could see herself in a black cage sitting with her legs like two mountains in front of her eyes then she brought the razor blade near her wrist of the other hand and cutting it. She couldn't feel the pain, but the scenario changed and each time her head feeling heavier and sweatier.
