how vee, quite casually, disappeared from the earth

chap 9 - the very edited chapter

"So mean!" vee kicked serrie. Serrie laughed unintentionally, having a flashback to when she used to sleepwalk. She kind of wished she could do it now.

Vee stared at the ceiling. The basement was now so dark, cause it was way past midnight... and she was stuck with probably the sweetest person and another person who she was so freaking p/ssed at. Oops-

"Serrie?" vee asked, the words coming out of her mouth before she could stop herself. Ananya was probably herself.

"Yeah?" serrie yawned.

"You know how I wrote that weird sana x yuna fanfic-"

"OMIGOD YES?"

"What if," vee started, giggling mischievously, "i wrote a bdsm fanfic about them! Like sana did for berri and sini?"

"Are you mentally ok?" vee shook her head, although serrie couldn't really see her.

Alyelle sighed, walking down the deserted street. It was considerably dark, and any normal person would be kind of scared to be alone, outside, past midnight. It's really creepy. But alyelle kind of liked the dark! And scary things. She also liked scary things a lot. She had told sana that she would go to jail of course, because she really couldn't go anywhere else.

Alyelle quickly stuck hand behind her coat to feel her hidden gun, just to make sure it was there - and it was.

The prison lights shone and it wasn't too far off. She could just go and waste away there forever- but knowing alba and icy, they would try and get sana demoted too. Not that alyelle cared of course, but mystery did need a leader.

A hand tapped her shoulder. She didn't look around; she was too tired. Today had been so exhausting.

"Alyelle!" she heard payton's voice.

"Payton," alyelle said, tired. "You should be asleep. Go."

"I'm not payton." the person who sounded like payton stammered. Alyelle saw a floppy brown hat out of the corner of her eye, and a swish of a blue dress. Just then she remembered- sini could mimic voices. She felt the blade of a knife sink into her back, and searing pain clouded her vision.

Then everything was black.

Vee awoke to the sound of footsteps on the floor above her- or sini's kitchen. At least, she was pretty sure that's what it was.

"Get OFF me! What are you doing?? GET OFF ME-" vee heard a female voice scream, and the basement door opened. The light blinded vee for a second and she opened her eyes to see a slender, weak figure get thrown in the basement, toppling down the stairs.

"Wake up. You've got a visitor." sini said cutely, and closed the basement door, locking it. Vee ran over to the person and brought her torch closer. It was about 3AM, probably. Definitely not 6 AM- she was pretty sure that's when it started to get light. Because she usually ate breakfast at 6AM and she got hungry whenever sini was about to serve breakfast so- hunger cues as a date schedule, mhm.

Vee held it closer, trying not to burn the person. "Alyelle?" she asked with shock and disbelief.

She left alyelle's side and ran over to serrie. "SERRIE WHAT ARE YOU DOING WAKE UP ALYELLE'S HERE OKAY NOW WAKE UP-" she shook serrie as hard as possible, and recoiled as serrie smacked vee's face.

"Stop it vee. i'm trying to sleep. what is wrong with you?"

"ALYELLE IS HERE." vee said bouncily, jumping up and down.

"Oh wait what-" serrie quickly stood up and ran over to ananya, waking her up. Thankfully, Ananya didn't have as much of a negative reaction as serrie. Besides lots of happy screaming. Well, probably happy screaming. It could've been sad screaming, but that wouldn't have made sense.

"How did you get here?" vee asked arielle from the other side of the basement; although it did carry acoustics well.

"I was- walking on the street."

"What time?" vee asked curiously.

"Like, 2 AM."

"Shouldn't you have been asleep?"

"I got kicked out of swc, remember? WAIT OMG YOU'RE VEE HOLD ON WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU ASDKFJLDKS IS SERRIE AND ANANYA HERE-" wow sudden realization totally realistic.

"YEAH they are! Oh yeah but we can't get out- cause sini stuck us in here. We've tried haha but it doesn't really work~"

"Oh." alyelle laid still staring at the ceiling.

"Why did you get demoted?" serrie wondered aloud. Ananya just stood there respectfully, not really saying anything unless she had an important question. She's just cool like that.

"Cause- uh- alba and icy thought i was a bad leader haha."

"Oh okay!" vee giggled.

"Ah, that makes sense." serrie replied.

Ananya nodded, agreeing. It definitely did make sense. The basement door slammed open, again. Another person?? It had barely been 10 minutes since alyelle got thrown in.

"Alyelle. You're coming with me-- i'm not letting you stay in here with these two."

"What??" vee asked loudly, "WHY?"

"That's for me to know and you to find out." sini retorted "alyelle, come on."

"When do we get to get out of here?" serrie hugged herself, clearly upset.

"Who said you're getting out of here? But y'all will get to go once I get what I need from mystery cabin and the whole swc."

"Foreshadowing?" ananya laughed, then stopped. "Oops, sorry."

Why fraternizing with the enemyyyyyyyy, vee thought to herself.

"Come on, alyelle. For gods sake, can you just get up so we can go to sleep?? Its like 4 am. I'm sleepy."

"Wait where am I sleeping-" alyelle got up before sini could yell at her again.

"I don't know. In my room? But not in my bed. No flies allowed in my bead." she giggled sweetly, and at that moment, alyelle looked like she wanted to stab sini in the back too.

"I will," alyelle said through gritted teeth, "write a bdsm fanfic about you and me except i'm the one punishing you. I swear to god, I will-"

"Ew-" sini shook her head, "come on. Let's go, for the last time." alyelle stood up and started climbing up the stairs.

"Aaaa, you look so pretty!" vee fangirled over sini. Serrie smacked vee's face, which was blushing.

"Are you insane?? Remember, ebony-"

"Shut-"

"Happy words!!" ananya giggled. Sini watched this odd conversation with a look of disgust on her face.

Okay, so finally, alyelle climbed the stairs, which is good- sini grabbed her wrist and pulled her out, shutting the door behind her. The click of the lock made vee shiver, just another reminder that she was trapped in there forever.

Vee looked over at ananya and serrie. In the heat of the moment, serrie could only come up with one thing to say.

"At least they aren't in love or something, or you would be really ticked." vee slapped serrie, and ananya watched in horror.

I don't regret slapping serrie omg soooo mean hmph /nm

Also berri's going to kill me isn't she? Maybe i just won't show her. Okay, so I edited out the innuendo bit, now it's all kid friendly.

I'm clearly lacking in my writing skills; jkjk i can actually write so much better than this but whatever it's a mystery romantic comedy so whatever, gotta love them. No writing skills for me !! teehee
