It's been almost a month since Shinsou started officially training with Aizawa and Korei has barely seen him! Sure, they'd spend time together at school and occasionally at his apartment, but Korei was losing her time with him. It's not like she wanted him to quit, she just wished there was a way that she could spend more time with him. Why is it that she only got to sleep beside him for a few hours? Why were the days so short?

Huffing to herself, Korei shoved things into her bag. Not only had Shinsou been staying after school but he was also being taken out of classes! He told Korei that it was so Aizawa and a few other teachers could help him get caught up in the hero course classes. It wasn't an official thing that he was switching over yet, but the three teachers helping him out thoroughly believed in him. Korei also believed in him and that's what made her sad. She realized that this was going to become their normal now. When he gets into the hero course, she won't see him in school. Training doesn't ease up either! He'll be spending more time training.

It's killing Korei because Shinsou's always so sore but he doesn't say anything about it. She can see it written on his face but he won't let her touch him. Not in that way, no, Shinsou still found Korei insanely attractive, he just didn't want her to touch him because he didn't want to acknowledge that he was sore. Being sore equates to being weak in his mind. He doesn't want Korei to see him as weak.

"Saito-san, are you okay?" A classmate asked as he stood near her desk. Korei was shocked out of her trance, looking up at the silver-haired boy. He was a pretty quiet kid and he was almost always getting into some kind of trouble, but he seemed to like Korei. She just told him from the get-go that she had a boyfriend and that she wasn't interested in anything more than friendship, which is what they barely had. A few conversations here and there in-between his trouble-making and her note-taking didn't even toe the line of a friendship. "You seem pretty aggravated by those notebooks. Finally sick of studying?"

"Oh, uh, Captain-san, I'm fine." She mumbled out, standing from her seat and slinging her bag over her shoulder. "I'm not sick of studying, I'm just a little frustrated about personal things." That was probably too much information, but Captain wasn't planning on doing anything with it. He might tell his little sister about it when he was venting later but that's about it.

"Oh, stuff to do with Shinsou...I assume?" He spoke, rubbing the back of his neck in almost the same way that Shinsou did. Korei narrowed her eyes, nodding warily. "I just...guessed since he's been absent quite a bit and all. Hey, do you want to eat lunch with my friends and I today? You almost always disappear at lunchtime. Where...do you go?"

"Library. I sit in the back," she responded to him, her hands meeting behind her back as she began to feel awkward. "I'm not really comfortable with...sitting with...new people? I just feel like...I don't know. I just feel weird."

"It's fine," Captain waved off, an uncharacteristically bright smile on his lips. "Maybe another time?" Korei shrugged and nodded, the two of them bowing slightly before he left. The green-haired girl just wanted to see her boyfriend. He normally got to hang out with her at lunch, but it's been less and less that he's done that.

Slinking off towards the library, Korei felt a sick feeling in her stomach. Why was she so upset about Shinsou following his dream? He's been wanting to get into the hero course since forever and now he'll most likely be able to do that! Korei just felt...selfish. She wanted him all to herself. Why couldn't she keep him all to herself? Gosh, she misses him so bad.
