****IKALAWANG LIBRO - TATLONG KABANATA****

   "He's a minor, isnt that statutory rape?!" Mico's tone accusing. "Tsk...Mga alagad pa naman kayo ng batas pero itinanan mo tong bata?!"

   "Jeez, no!" Parang gustong tumaas ang presyon ni Kokoy, "He is my orphan!"

   "Oh - Okay." Napaayos ng upo si Mico.

   Xavier stood up, "So... Everything is settled then, welcome to our home Elijah and Koy."

   "Wait - wait – wait! We have to have rules here firsts. I can't just live in one place and just agree to whatever you two want to do with this house." Mico grab his back pack and put out a pink pencil case with pink ballpens inside. Next, he pulled-out his pink notebook on the other side of his backpack pocket.

   Xavier and Kokoy watch him suspiciously.

   "What?! I like pink. Do you have some problem with pink?!"

   Xavier sat down again, "Tsk, nah. I always knew you are a pink – person. And you're still as organize as fuck, Mics. Bakit hindi pink bag mo?"

   "Mabilis madumihan..." Mico started jolting down the do's and don'ts as the three boys kept quiet for minutes.

   Once everything is finished, he showed them the bulleted items on the paper. "There..."

   Xavier started reading them loudly,

   "Shoes must leave at the door, no shoes around the house at all cost. Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday are clean-up day -" Mico interrupted him.

   "Yeah - it's you and Kokoy's clean-up day."

   "Ohh - Okay." Xavier nodded, "Don't leave used dish wares on the kitchen. Noise isn't allowed since I'm going to work here... Wait, you're going to work from home?"

   "Yep."

   "Okay, no visitors allowed unless you'll notify me firsthand. No coming home beyond 10pm. Don't abuse the couch." He had to take a pause, "What do you mean don't abuse the couch?"

   "Don't have sex in the couch." Mico forgot that there's a kid present, "Oops, you didn't hear that." He told Elijah.

   Napailing na lang si Xavier, then continues, "Each headcount has to contribute 25% of all the house expenses including food, water, wifi, and electricity bill. So, that means we're charging Kokoy for about 50% rate a month?" Xavier asked.

   "Teka, wala man lang discount? I have dependent here." Kokoy had to protest kung hindi mamumulubi siya ng maaga.

   "Estudyante ba siya?" Tanong ni Mico.

   "Hindi." sagot nito.

   "Sigurado akong hindi din naman siya senior citizen."

   "But -"

   "No buts." Mico cutting Kokoy.

   "Oo nga naman, Mics. Napaka walang puso mo naman kung walang discount para sa bata." Xavier said with an empath tone.

   "Okay, tutal mabuti kang kaibigan, shoulder their 10%. Kokoy will pay 40% of the monthly expenses, and you, Xavier, a good Samaritan will pay 35% of the house expenses."

   "What?!" Nanlaki ang mata niya.

   "Thank you, pare..." Kokoy said with gratitude.

   Siya na nga nagmagandang loob siya magagastusan ng sobra?! Why the fuck being nice is such a pain in the wallet?!

   Magsasalita pa sana siya na hindi siya sumasang-ayon doon pero he looked at Elijah who was pouting beside Kokoy with puppy eyes. He sighs. "Okay, okay." He said in resignation. He promised to himself he would never let them get into his pocket ever again.
