The truck pulled up outside of an old wired fence, the sign which read 'stop' had been washed away and the red was barely visible. Once Jayden had climbed out of the truck she switched her hoodie for her leather jacket and checked she had her pistols and knives. Natasha held her phone which was more up to date and probably had other things than the apps Jayden had. She stood with Steve and Natasha at roughly a fifteen-foot high fence.

"The file gave me these co-ordinate," Natasha spoke, looking up from the phone.

"So did I," Steve's eyes swiftly focused on the slightly faded sign that read 'CAMP LEHIGH, US ARMY RESTRICTED AREA'. The day soon turned to night as they walked past the brick buildings. The walls were crumbling and the greyed wood leant over slightly.

"This is the camp where I was trained."

"Change much?" Natasha was looking back at the phone, trying to find a signal from where the
co-ordinates could be.

"A little," Steve replied. Jayden could see that he was trying to picture what it looked like and so did Jayden. She could see people running around, training themselves and others. She could see the trucks driving along the road and taking people to and from war.

"This is a dead end. Zero heat signatures, zero waves, not even a radio," Natasha reported back. There must be at least one computer here. Even if it doesn't work now they must have made it in the past.

"Whoever wrote the file must've used a router to throw people off." It did make more sense but why here? Why in the middle of an army camp? What were they trying to hide?

Steve looked towards the buildings behind Natasha like it could be in there and Natasha saw the idea of him and saw his eyeline focusing on the buildings.

"What is it?" Natasha asked, curious about what caught his eye. He started walking to the building before explaining what he had thought of, leaving Natasha and Jayden curious.

"Army regulations forbid storing munitions within 500 yards of the barracks. This building is in the wrong place." Less than a minute later Steve slammed his shield against a metal lock on the door. When he brought the shield back it almost hit Jayden who jumped back, falling into Natasha who caught her at the last second. Natasha laughed. Not a 'That's so funny' laugh but a flirty laugh. Jayden stood up instantly and followed him down the concrete stairs, reminding her of the Hydra Base except she was suspecting this wouldn't be their base but perhaps someone else's.

Natasha pressed on of the switched on the wall which turned on the lights, coming on in pairs like a film and illuminating the desks allowing a walkway in between. On the wall there was a giant eagle, the dark wings sprawled across the grimy paint that was slowly peeling off the wall. Across the top in an arc it read:

'Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement Logistics Division'

"This is S.H.E.I.L.D?" Natasha's voice echoed through the room, still ringing in Jayden's ears thirty seconds after she spoke.

"You mean where it started," Steve corrected her. Natasha and Steve stayed near to the stairs for a moment as Jayden advanced down the middle of the room. She waited at the centre for Steve and Natasha to follow which they did after a while and led them through dark green doors, although it wasn't obvious it was a green. It was full of pigeon holes and on the wall opposite the door there were three photos. All of previous owners or founders of S.H.E.I.L.D.

"Stark's father," Jayden pointed at the picture in the middle, Natasha and Steve both looked at where she was pointing.

"Who's the girl?" Natasha asked Steve. The girl had short, dark hair and deep red colour lips. Steve didn't answer and instead search the dusty shelves with cobwebs and spiders hiding within. Jayden studied the photo of the girl, she was pretty and would seem like a captain or a leader. She presumed that her and Steve were close. She turned her head to look at Steve and smiled.
