Jayden didn't like the words 'I have to...'. She always thought that it meant you were being forced into doing something you don't want to do. HYDRA had now been taken down along with S.H.E.I.L.D and she had helped even if she was ex-HYDRA.
She pulled up outside of where she was told to meet Steve Rogers and climbed out the car, walking towards him and Sam. Fury turned up less than 2 minutes after she arrived.
"So, you've experienced this sort of thing before." Fury started saying before he even got to them.
"You get used to it," Steve answered.
"We've been data mining HYDRA's files. Looks like a lot of rats didn't go down with the ship," He started talking about HYDRA, Jayden flinching slightly at the word, "I'm headed to Europe tonight. Wanted to ask if you'd come." He continued.
"There's something I got to do first." Steve replied. Fury looked at Sam next.
"How 'bout you Wilson? I could use a man with your abilities."
"I'm more of a soldier than a spy," he admitted, excusing himself from going.
"You?" He turned to Jayden.
"I'm done with that style of life, I want to just settle down and be like a human. Not like some superhero having to save the world every two years. Sorry, Fury." She felt bad not going but it was what she decided while taking HYDRA down.
"Alright then," Fury looked away at his grave for a moment then gave them a handshake. Before separating from Steve he said one more thing, "if anybody asks for me, tell them they can find me, right here." He pointed at the grave.
Just as he walked away she heard Natasha's familiar voice,
"You should be honoured, that's as close as he gets to saying thankyou," She was standing a few meters away. Steve was the first one to manoeuvre towards her then Jayden followed at his heel.
"Not going with him?" He asked.
"No." She replied.
"Not staying here?" Steve followed up.
"Nah. I blew all my covers, I got to go figure out a new one."
"That might take a while."
"I'm counting on it. That thing you asked for. I called in a few favours from Kiev," She continued, handing him a file, "Will you do me a favour? Call that nurse."
"She's not a nurse." Steve corrected.
"And you're not a S.H.E.I.L.D Agent."
"What was her name again?" Steve asked, forgetting it.
"Sharon. She's nice." She kissed him on the cheek and walked off, Jayden following briskly until she caught up with her.
"Be careful, Steve. You might not want to pull on that thread." They were Natasha's last words to him. For now.

They were walking along one of the old warehouses. Jayden didn't know why but they were bored and they needed to hide. Natasha pulled her in to her body and kissed Jayden's lips softly. Natasha ran her hands through her hair and grabbed her neck while Jayden was holding her hips. The separated after about a minute and they held hands again, walking a bit further.
"You going to stay? I mean, you won't have anywhere to go, HYDRA's down..."
"I don't know," Jayden sighed, her eyes filling with tears.
"What do you mean? You, you can't leave..." Natasha grabbed her shoulders.
"What I mean is...I can't stay but I want to."
"Do what you want to do! Please Jayden..."
"I have to-"
