a/n: I highkey wanna write an angst story. Like full-on angst without smut being the main theme. Maybe when I'm finished with this and salt though. Idk.

I feel like I should start it soon because my need for angst is starting to show in all the stories I'm writing 💀

I had an idea for this chapter and it completely changed. Ig that happens for everything I write since my fingers have minds of their own. thankfully it always works out in the end, let's hope it works out this time too.

Aizawa

he glanced at the last message you'd sent once more, that you arrived at the club. though you'd sent in an hour ago, for some reason he kept on glancing at it.

Aizawa sighed uneasily as he turned the phone face down and looked at the report he was reading.

the words that he'd read so many times made no sense though it was written coherently and properly.

"Maybe I should've answered" he mumbled but no matter how he considered it, he couldn't bring himself to.

what would he say?

'have fun?'

he surely wished you wouldn't have anything of the sort.

petty. possessive. he didn't want you to enjoy yourself without him.

the very thought of you smiling and laughing with anyone while you were dressed up made him annoyed.

so annoyed that instead of driving you there he sent the driver. the excuse he'd given was that he felt extremely tired—though it wasn't a lie. the new pheromone blockers that seemed to work the best in getting rid of his pheromones completely made him less productive and disoriented.

it was a price he was willing to pay since fewer people approached him when they mistook him for a beta while you both went out.

hurry and come back?

you'd only laugh at him, he was sure. you'd push him away too for being clingy.

he already knew too well that you were still adapting to affectionate behavior. overwhelming you wouldn't work out well.
