Jake and Halsey were led to a waiting convoy that looked similar to something the President would be using. It was led by a team of armed and from the protruding chest lumps appeared to be all women. They all had helmets you would see paintball players wear to protect their eyes. Halsey and I climbed into the waiting motorcade which made me feel somewhat like a important figure and that these lady killers would protect me with their lives for their Ripal.
I sat directly across from Halsey and had nowhere to look because two of the security detail had to ride inside with us for security purposes but chose to let little miss princess stretch her legs and cramped up next to me so uncomfortably close. Halsey was beautiful and as the time with her grew jake thought more of her and less of Valarie. To Jake it felt as if hed been gone for so long but in reality it was maybe an hour since his car drove off the cliff and he began his after life Saga. He wanted to talk to her in the car but every time he started to tell a bad ice breaker to her he stopped nervously.
It could have been that he was an introvert and the guards in the car made him choke up and reconsider. Or it could be that she's kind of a bitch to Jake for no reason but either way tomato, tamato he just remained quiet and unsure of what to expect in this superman test of something these people want Jake to fail so badly at and they don't even know why they want him to fail but he never much was a follower in his lifetime so whatever pop quiz they throw at him Jake will make sure that if he fails then nobody will laugh or say anything that he wasn't so close to winning that they were wrong to doubt him.
They stayed in silence the rest of the way. He could hear Halsey humming to herself softly which sounded actually nice and showed a different side of her that he liked her even more now which is crazy to him. "hi mom and dad, I know ive been dead for however many years but im married to an alien princess and im the leader of the galaxy now.." Jake thought to himself.
When the arrived at the palace and got out of the motorcade Halsey told him "You can shower in the lake whenever." Halsey said. "Wow if i gave you guys just like a few of the pleasantries and luxuries that your missing .... you would probably let me skip this God battle or whatever i gotta do and start kissing my feet and making statues for me." Jake said standing like a roman statue with a warriors pose of his sword being held high in victory pose. Jake grabbed his things to take a nice bath with that would be nice and what he needed to relax when he thought about it. As he was walking with a towel around his waste and some shower shoes toward the lake he started hearing people snicker as he walked by in the native language.
Jake was clueless as to what Halsey had set him up to probably die a second time from a heart attack when Halsey's Giant Bearded iguana wakes up to see who is bathing in his water den will be something Archy is going to be devastated he missed. Jake got deep enough that his belly button wasn't able to be seen any longer. The water felt actually pleasant and he could almost see his reflection in the dark blue water. What was starting to be really uncomfortable was the crowd that was starting to gather around him watching him take a bath.
"Okay people nothing to see here!" Jake yelled into his pretend microphone that was his hands cupped together over his lips. "dohmp" a huge air bubble had released some pressure somewhere to his right. He didn't think anything was off or not normal and was probably just how things were on this planet. Jake didnt see the 20 foot 3 thousand pound behemoth freaking mustached freaking iguana slowly stand up behind Jake on its hind legs puzzled of what this weird person was doing in his lake living room. Jake didnt notice until the giant pet lizard stood straight up and started blocking the sun did Jake's eyes get big and he slowly turned around until he was up to the beasts knees. Jake yelled out "arghh" and fainted face down into the lake from shock.
"Guan (was the beasts name) wouldnt hurt anything but a fly. Guan pushed Jake's body over with his front leg so he didnt drown. Jake woke in what had to be a teenage girls bedroom with all of the posters of their version of a boy band musicians and dreamy Justin beebys all over her wall and just as he suspected he was in Halseys room when he saw her walk in to check on him.
"How are you feeling?" She asked him with a concerned sympathetic tone. "Leave me alone." Jake said and got down off the bed. He noticed he was fully clothed in royal blue attire he was positive wasnt on him while he was in the lake in his Michael Jordan basketball shorts he wore under his pants. You always have a just in case pair of basketball pants on when you wear jeans anywhere." Stop being a byba Jake." she said jumping on her bed looking inquisitively at him. "English?" jake said with a added touch of "shh" at the end of english when he said it. "Your cultures and ways of life and your people came from my people." she said to jake staring into his tiny light hazel eyes with such intent that when they heard Archys intentional cough from the double door entrance to her room they both jumped back and she looked at the ground with red translucent cheeks while Jake, all of a sudden became fascinated with the architecture of the room on the wall to the other side opposite side of the room not wanting to admit he was just about to lock lips with a Martian.
"I see you two nearly kissed and made up." Archy joked with the lovebirds. "Jake what were you doing in the Iguanas water hole?" Jake looked to see that Halsey was looking at him with remorse and giving Jake the "fuck me eyes" and realized if the Ripal found out she did that as a prank, then she was in a world of trouble she was afraid of. "All of the showers inside were being used and i saw the lake and thought it would be okay and there werent any 20 foot giant lizards hiding under water from what I could tell. I passed out when i thought it was going to eat me." Jake lied to his after life mentor. "Luckily," he added "Halsey saw me and came and saved my life" with a added hype to make her sound like his hero." He told him. "Really..?" archy said with skepticism. "Really." they both answered in sync.
"Jake, what im about to tell you is going to be somewhat of a shock." Archy started out. "I can handle it." Jake said stern to impress Halsey with his bravery. You are chosen to be the next Allmega." he said plainly. "Like God?" Jake said in disbelief. "There will never be another God Jake." Archy said adamantly. " You will be his predecessor to take His place as the Allmega." Archy explained the best he could. "This is the first time this has happened since God took the throne." Archy explained. "Bare in mind though that this is what the leaders of the 6 realms have conjured up and voted on being the right course of action because When God won the throne and became Almighty over the entire universe was the last time he was ever seen.
"He added a 7th realm to the galaxy. You know this place as Earth." Archy gave billions of years worth of history in that simple statement and Jake understood. He made Earth and humans on Earth in His image with a idea that everyone should have free will and nobody is higher or more powerful than anyone. Everyone has the power to make the choice to use free will however they please. Instead of how the rest of the 6 realms have done since the begining of Eternity." he had Halseys attention now. "He thought that because humans on earth were made in His image that they could be trusted and given free will at birth instead of how it was in the rest of the 6 realms and you had to work your whole life and earn free will. So you understood the power and respected that same power. It is like getting a pension after dedicated hard work when you retire." Archy tried to give an example.
"Anyways, the plan miserably failed and God used so much power to break the commandment spell that he placed on protecting earth from an attack from the outside realms or beyond from reaching his most prized possession... You Jake." he said. "You Jake are his second begotten son." Archy said. "but thats impossible.." Jake said in bewilderment. "I dont believe it" Halsey said finally. "She sure knows how to take a piss on my parade with her helpful comments." Jake thought. "With God all things are possible." Archy said confidently.
"Its the only plausible explanation we came up with." Archy said with his hands upside down in defeat. "What about my mother? and my Father?" Jake asked. "Your mother is your biological mother but your Father had adopted you the day you were born." Archy said. "We just found this out which is why I thought I would come and let you know that you have been selected for the Allmega." Archy said somewhat excited. "I'll do it." jake said without hesitation. "Jake, I havent even told you what you would have to do to become the Allmega." Archy said softly. "I dont care because I know whatever i have to do I will do it." he continued by saying "and I will win."
