Chapter 7: The Temptations are in a bottle in the middle of the Sea

As Halsey sat down in the chair across from Lucifer, She couldn't help herself but to giggle at  what was about to unfold. It made her laugh like she heard the funniest  joke ever. After close to a minute of non stop laughing from Halsey it  made Jake start to chuckle along with her too. It was starting to make Lucifer mad because he had no idea what she was laughing at so finally he slammed his fists on the table and screamed while hovering over her saying "WHAT THE FUCK IS SO FUNNY!?" the prince of darkness screamed. The sudden violent outburst made Jake stand rapidly up to defend Halsey which in turn made Flaco stand up then thought twice remembering being Lucifer's Home run pitch he didnt want repeated and grunted in frustration and sat back in his chair. Jake remained standing looking like a spider in a web ready to pounce on the unsuspecting fly that was about to have the life sucked out of him for being in the wrong place, wrong web and be dinner for Charolette soon.

From the corner of his eye that was staring intently at Lucifer Jake saw Halsey's bright blue neon gaze staring at Jake. She stopped laughing and softly spoke to Jake in a soothing tone and said "Jake.." she asked to get his full attention. When Jake took his eyes off the Red fucker and looked at Halsey she shook her head at him as if to say "please trust me jake, I know what im doing." by the look she gave him she didnt need to verbally tell him to sit back down and watch her magic with what she had in store for Lucifer. It took Jake everything he had to sit back down because he never wanted anything to happen to his new soul mate, but if the Ripal could trust her judgement then her new husband could to and Jake's balled fists came unglued and he nodded once to Halsey and sat down in his chair to watch his girl hopefully kick the Devil right in the balls.

"Aww, how cute." Lucifer said. "It's a shame I cant torment you lovebirds for Eternity." he continued with his elbow on the table pointing at Jake and then back to Halsey multiple times. "Maybe when i become the Allmega finally I'll stop by and see how the universes new Bradgelina couple are."  Lucifer said finally returning his attention back to Halsey who now had  Halsey staring into his evil eyes that had what resembled flames burning in his Irises of each eye. A small smile raised from the corner of her mouth as she started intently back into Lucifer's gaze. "You will never become the Allmega Lucifer" she said to Lucifer. "And what makes you so sure princess?" he continued by saying " I taught the little Alarm Clock that played Jake how to play Chess." Lucifer replied sitting back in his chair folding his arms together in front of him as if to say he was one of the Elites of Chess so it would be very difficult even for a seasoned Chess player to be able to beat him.

"Oh im not going to beat you in chess." she said which made everyone watching stare at each other in confusion at the newfound statement from the princess. "Well why are you smiling?" he asked after moving his head closer to Halsey to get her response faster. "Because You have been so wrapped up in winning this battle that you forgot how you have to win the war." she said but still seemed to be the only one in the universe to know what sje was talking about. "What are you talking about daughter?" the Ripal said from the projected screen on the wall where she watched in suspense as her daughter was the last line of defense from Lucicer becoming Leader of the Universe. Halsey put her two fingers on her King on the Chess board  and after a few seconds made Lucifer laugh thinking she didn't even know how to play or how the pieces moved. Halsey looked at Jake for suppprt and without knowing what her plan was he gave her a supportive nod of his head showing her that she had his full support even if all the red lights and alarms going off in his head of how bad the situation seemed that he trusted her fully no matter what.
