I walk into school not even knowing what to expect from Lauren. I didn't know what any of this meant and I was scared as hell to find out.

I made sure I came to school a little late so I could just go straight to class with no chance of running into Lauren.

It worked and I was able to avoid her.

I was in choir and really needed a drink from all that singing so I slipped out of class to get one.

I walk through the quiet hallway to the fountain and bend down to take a sip.

The cool water feels good running down my dry throat until my entire face is shoved down into the water.

"Thirsty much slut?" Lauren says standing behind me while laughing.

I turn around and wipe my wet face off with my sleeve.

I don't say anything and just stare at her pissed off.

"Your fly is down." Lauren giggles.

"God, your boyfriend's so forgetful." I laugh and zip it up.

She obviously wasn't expecting that with the surprised look on her face.

"Like anyone would want to get into your pants." She scoffs and now she really pissed me off.

"Then why did you?" I snap and her face immediately drops.

"Please, you were a onetime fuck like all the other guys." She hisses and I feel a sharp pain in my chest and I don't even know why.

"Wait, don't tell you thought it meant something." Lauren says while trying to hold back a laugh.

"I was drunk and didn't know what I was thinking. Like I would really want to fuck you." Lauren yells and I feel the tears brewing in my eyes.

"It was a mistake." Lauren says and I feel a tear roll down my cheek but I quickly wipe it away.

"Yeah." I laugh. "It fucking was."

I walk back down the hallway to my class without another word or glance. I hate her. I'm so done.
