I am a pallbearer so after everybody heads to the graveyard, I help to carry my wife's coffin to the hearse. We drive to the graveyard and after everyone has said their goodbyes, we help to lower her coffin into the ground. Everybody leaves except me. I watch them slowly fill the hole back up with dirt while I silently cry. 10 years pass and I am 92. I know I'm dying but I'm at peace because I know I'll get to see my wife again. A few hours pass and it's 2:30 pm. I can barely breathe and I know it's my time to finally go. I'm laying in my bed as I clutch my wife's picture to my chest. I feel something touch my hand so I look over and see my wife smiling at me. She says, "It's time to come home Danny." I smile and say, "I'll be there soon Marissa. I love you." I slowly drift into unconsciousness as I let death take control. I see a bright light at the end of the tunnel. I follow my wife's voice to the end of the tunnel. I step through 2 gigantic, golden doors and I know I'm finally home. My wife runs up to me and hugs me. She looks as beautiful as the day we first met. There's angels flying everywhere, gold gates, gold statues. There's gold everywhere but none of that would matter if I didn't have my wife beside me. I hold my wife close and kiss her cheek. I smile and say, "I love you Marissa." She looks at me and says, "I love you too Danny."
