Chapter 7

George woke up to someone tapping his shoulder.

"George. George. George. Wake up." Sapnap whispered in a soft voice.

George yawned and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

Sapnap smiled back at George "We gotta get ready to go."

"Okay" George yawned. He sat up, his hair messy. He was still half asleep. He looked around to take in what was going on.

"Morning." Dream smiled from where he was sitting putting food in baggies. "Do you want some food?"

"Yeah." George replied.

Dream reached him a baggie with hickory nuts and barberries.

George ate some of the barberries then stood up. He slung his bag onto his shoulder and walked out.

"You ready?" Sapnap asked.

George looked back inside the hunting hut. "Yeah."

"Alright, Dream's waiting for us." Sapnap turned towards the dirt road.

George followed, eating walnuts and barberries on the way.

They got to the dirt road Sapnap snacking on his walnuts. They walked for a bit longer.

"Ow Sapnap." George whined, getting hit with a berry.

"What'd you do this time?" Dream asked, not looking back.

"What's with you and throwing berries at me"

Sapnap just laughed in reply.

"If you're not gonna eat them, give them back." Dream stopped holding out his hand.

"You're not any fun." Sapnap whined, rolling his eyes.

"The berries." Dream kept his hand out.

"No." Sapnap held back a laugh.

Dream stopped and looked back at Sapnap only to get a berry thrown at him.

"Sapnap!" Dream started laughing.

Dream walked over to Sapnap and tried to get the berries from him.

"Give me the berries" Dream laughed as Sapnap passed them behind his back between hands.

George stood there awkwardly, just watching.

"George!" Sapnap yelled before throwing the baggie of berries at him.

George was snapped out of his thoughts. "Wa..." was all he got out before the bag of berries hit him. Oh god... He thought to himself.

"George give me the berries." Dream said, still tangled with Sapnap.

"No don't!" Sapnap said as he and Dream untangled themselves.

Oh god... "Uh..." He smiled then ran past the two of them.

Dream reached out his hand trying to grab the berries. "George!" He said before he fell.

"Ha yes!" Sapnap said, running after George.

"Come back here!" Dream laughed.

"Run George!" Sapnap looked back "OH GOD HE'S FASTER!" He yelled as Dream started catching up.

"Your problem!" George yelled as he threw the berries back.

"You're father ahead!" Sapnap looked back to see how close Dream was. "AH GEORGE" Dream playfully tackled Sapnap to the ground.

"Berries!" Dream said holding Sapnap down.

"No." Sapnap threw the berries to George weakly.

George saw the berries and grabbed them and ran.
