Chapter 9

George woke up next to Sapnap who had his arms around him. He raised his head, looking for where Dream was. He didn't see him. He figured Dream was making some sort of food. He tried getting up.

Sapnap pulled George back down, wrapping his arms around him, holding onto him. "Stay here." He was still half asleep.

"Sapnap, the sun's already up." George looked at the window that had the sun spilling in.

"Mmm I know." Sapnap smiled with his eyes closed.

"Sapnap we have to gather supplies." George tried getting free of Sapnap's arms.

"We can do it later. I wanna sleep."

"Come on." George attempted getting Sapnap out of bed.

"I don't wanna."

"Oh my gosh." George walked out of the room. Maybe Dream can get him up.

He reached the kitchen seeing a letter on the counter.

We went out already to find food. We decided to let you guys get some sleep. I put some berries in some baggies for you. Make sure you guys collect water for us. There're jars and bottles in some of the cabinets. Just fill up as many as you can. Oh yeah and Sapnap don't push George in the river.

George walked out and back down the hall. He walked into the room where Sapnap was laying down. "Sapnap they already left earlier."

"Okay?"

"The sun's already up. We need to get water to save up."

"Can't we just wait till later"

"Either you come with me or I'm going by myself."

Sapnap got out of bed tired. "Fine, I'll get up."

George walked back to the kitchen and looked for the berries. He found them on the counter by the fridge. He picked them both up, giving one to Sapnap.

"Thanks." Sapnap took his berries.

George grabbed out jars and bottles.

Sapnap got their bags from the living room. He walked back to the kitchen and sat them on the table. He took out the clothes and blankets that were in them.

George carried out a few jars and bottles. He sat them onto the table, returning to the closet to find more.

Sapnap put the jars into his bag and the bottles into George's.

"I wonder what food Dream and Niki are getting." George whispered to himself.

Niki and Dream watched the ground as they walked along a deer path.

"I found some grapes." Niki pointed towards a vine that had grapes hanging from them.

Dream walked over, handing Niki a baggie. "Get as many as you can."

"Okay."

Dream walked a bit further. He found cherries near the road. "I'm grabbing some cherries." He stepped off the path some. He filled baggies with cherries.

George and Sapnap crawled down the ladder through the trapdoor in the kitchen. They had their bags on their backs. They walked down the dark tunnel.

Sapnap turned to face George once they reached the end of the tunnel. "We're gonna collect water then Dream will boil it once we all get back.

They walked to a river kneeling down and filling the jars and bottles with water.

George scooped up water. He felt something push him. He put his hands on the ground, catching himself. He turned around, seeing Sapnap holding back laughter.
