A song that always makes you smile
Aah there's so many!
Ok if I had to pick just one I would have to go with "Who Put the Bomp (in the Bomp, Bomp, Bomp)" by Barry Mann. I find this song hilarious. I crack up every time I hear it. It's a parody of late 50s, early 60s doo-wop, and it's so ridiculous that it's funny.
A sampling of the lyrics:
Who put the bomp in the bomp bah bomp bah bomp
Who put the ram in the rama lama ding dong
Who put the bop in the bop shoo bop shoo bop
Who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip
Who was that man
I'd like to shake his hand
He made my baby fall in love with me (yeah)I mean, come on. And Barry Mann's delivery makes it even better. Go listen to it, and I promise (though you might have a slight "wtf?" reaction) you won't regret it.
