A/n: So this is part 2 of the previous chapter, everything is still the same in regards to what I put at the start, except there's swearing in this one and a lot of mention/pressure to have sex and on that note, you don't have to do anything you're not comfortable with, you can say no, my messages are always open if anyone needs someone to talk to :))
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A lot happened in the few weeks that followed Cole and I’s first date, at the end of September we had gone on a total of four dates and on the fourth he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes. It was now approaching Halloween and Charlie and I had barely said a word to each other, neither of us apologised to the other after our fight and as much as I hated to admit it I missed my best friend.
Cole and I have now been going out for almost a month now and I was beginning to really like him apparently this has been the longest he has been in a relationship for. I was on my way to one of the charms classrooms where Gracie left her book and I said I would get it for her on my way back from the Library.
I pushed open the door to see a sight I wished I never had of. Cole with his shirt off leaning over a girl in the year above us who also didn’t have her top on as he kissed down her neck. My breath hitched in my throat and my eyes went wide.
They both jumped up as they acknowledged my presence, “y/n this isn’t what it looks like.” Cole insisted picking up his shirt from across the room, “It looks like you were hooking up with her so please, enlighten me on what it really is.” I snapped, I swallowed the lump in my throat, I was not going to cry here, not in front of them.
The girl looked mortified as she frantically tried to get fully dressed again, “Okay maybe it is what it looks like but this is partly your fault as well.” he claimed, buttoning up his shirt, how in merlin's name could this be my fault? He cheated on me.
“How is it my fault?” I questioned, raising my voice and growing extremely annoyed. I was hurt, just like Charlie said would happen.
“We’ve been dating for almost a month, we haven’t even made out, never mind slept together, you were taking too long to get out of your own head.” He figured and the other girl slipped out of the room. I was so mad at Cole I didn’t even know how to respond to that.
“I am only dating you because you're hot but you haven’t even let me hit it yet.” he continued, the anger was bubbling inside me, I don’t know what hurt more, the fact that he only dated me to get me into bed or the fact that Charlie was right and I may have lost my best friend for nothing.
I lifted my hand and slapped him across his face, he looked stunned at my actions, “You’re a real piece of shit, you know that.” I said, and turned to walk away as tears started to stream down my face.
“Wait y/n we can work this out!” He shouted after me and tried to follow me down the hallway. It was beyond me as to why he wanted to work it out after what just happened.
“No we’re over, now leave me alone!” I yelled back wiping the tears off my cheeks yet they kept falling despite my attempts. Cole ignored me and kept following me through the corridor so when I turned the corner I took my chance and made a run for it back to Gryffindor tower.
By the time I climbed through the portrait hole, my tears were clouding my vision, I didn’t care who was in the common room. I just wanted to get to my dorm.
“Y/n?” I heard Charlie’s voice question as he rose from the armchair but I just ignored him, I wasn’t in the mood to hear his lecture now. “y/n?” He repeated, “What’s wrong?” He followed me to the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the girls dorms.
Charlie grabbed my wrist and pulled me around to face him before I could disappear up the stairs, “Y/n.” he said for a final time as he did so.
