Did Manik came back from the office ? A man who is in his late 50's asked the servant
Yes sir, he came back and directly went into his room and ordered the staff not to disturb him , he answered
Okay! You served the dinner for both of us I'll bring him , the man told and got up from his rocking chair
He went towards Manik room and opened the door
The room was messy as usual pillows, clothes ,shoes lying on the floor ... he picked up pillows and kept them at there places
Sir you don't need to do this , one of the servants stopped him
Is he again in the theatre room ? The man asked
Yes sir! The servant replied
The man then directly went in the theatre room , it was all dark and the projector was flashing its screen
He looked all around in the room and finally spot Manik sitting at the corner on the floor with a bottle of alcohol in his hand
The man closed his eyes in disbelief, he took slow steps and sat next to him looking at the screen
Office se ake dad se mil toh liya kar! The man said
I thought aap rest kar rahe ho , manik replied taking a sip from his bottle
Since the time you have taken over my business I am resting only , the man replied
Have you had your dinner dad? Manik asked
I want to have it with my son , the man replied
Dad please ! You go and have it I am not hungry, manik said while sipping alcohol
Han Tu yeh dhek ke (pointed at the screen )Aur yeh alcohol peke he toh apni Bhook puri kar leta hai , the man said
Manik was completely quiet
Manik you are too young right now don't ruin your life like this , you have a long life to spend , the man said
Manik was just having a painful smile on his face , he got up and went towards the screen , he touched the picture which was displayed on the screen

He touched her face and closed his eyes , and took a big sip of alcohol this time

Pata Chal bhi jayega toh kya , it will be more painful at that moment dad , atleast from past 7 years I am living with a false hope that she might still have a feeling for me but if I got to know where she is , I won't be able to stop myself from meeting her and she won't be interested in meeting me and it'll be more painful to accept the truth at that time ,manik answered
Manik you can't run away from reality ! Till when are you gonna live in this imaginative world ! The man said
I don't know dad! But Aaj bhi I can feel the last hug which she gave me her head on my chest my hands on her waist , manik exclaimed with his eyes closed
It hurts to see you like this and it's more painful when I can't do anything to get you out of this pain , the man said
It's okay dad , you only say that we don't get everything in life , we have money, fame ,respect ,reputation everything but the only things that is missing from our life is LOVE and it's okay dad, manik exclaimed
If you loved her so much you would have never let her go , the man said
Even I didn't knew that I loved her this much , maybe when we have things we don't value them and once they are gone we realise there importance .....and with each passing day my love for her her is reaching a new extent ....Manik said looking at her picture on the screen
His father just moved his head in disbelief, I guess it's enough for today now come and eat with me , the man exclaimed
Dad please, manik replied
It's my order manik , the man said
You go I'll be coming, manik said
His dad came out of the room , from past 7 years I have seen the pain in his eyes , he might not share his feelings with me but I can see how badly he misses Nandini each and every day , the man told in his head

You have to come manik , and even you know I never force to come along but this one is very personal afterall we don't have much friends and relatives to go but this one is close so please do not deny and be ready in the evening, the man asked
And Manik rolled hai eyes as he can never deny his father
