Yeah , I guess! We have decided to meet tomorrow for lunch and talk further, manik said

It's the best thing , get everything sorted nicely! Maniks dad said

I'll try my best! manik replied

The next day

Manik and Nandini decided to meet at a cafe

Manik reached the cafe an hour before!

He was desperately waiting for Nandini !
Soon he spot her entering inside and a big smile kept on his lips

She came towards him and smiled , manik step forward to hug her and she took out her hand for handshake

And there was a bit of awkwardness between the two !

Ummm have a seat ! Manik exclaimed breaking the awkwardness and pulled the chair for her !
Thanks she replied and both of them sat

I thought it's a famous cafe , Nandini exclaimed looking around

As there was no one beside Nandini and Manik , it was all empty

Uhmmm, actually I reserved the entire cafe for us so that there is no disturbance while we are talking, manik exclaimed

What? Manik you are crazy ! Nandini exclaimed as she was shock with his action

Leave that , tell me what will you have ! Manik asked her scrolling through the menu

I'll just have a black tea ! She replied

Black tea and you? Manik Asked cause she didn't use to have anything without sugar!

Taste change over time , she replied

And Manik nodded,

Before you say anything manik , I want to say few things , Nandini said

Go ahead ! Manik replied

Manik whatever happens last night was totally unexpected, I mean to say whatever I said . She exclaimed nervously

Nandini have some water and don't worry just say whatever you want to , manik exclaimed handling her the glass of water

Thanks , she exclaimed taking a sip of it .

Manik , it's true that I tried very hard to forget you but it was difficult for me , but there is one more thing I can't neglect and that is "Siddharth" , she exclaimed

And Manik expression changed to confusion

Manik!  me and Siddharth meet in Canada's where I was pursuing my higher studies , I won't deny the fact that Siddharth was with me since past 5 years , he helped me a lot in this phase . Infact he was my only friend in all this years . And even you know the fact that our families have decided to get us married in the coming months, Nandini exclaimed

I am not able to get you Nandini, I mean last night you said you can't get over me and now you are talking about him! Manik asked

All I am saying is that , yes all this years I tried hard to forget you to forget us ! But I failed but at the same time I cannot neglect the fact that I had made promises to Siddharth as well of future and now I just don't want to be unfair with anyone , I can't be selfish,she exclaimed

Listen Nandini , you can't travel in 2 ships at the same time you always have to choose one , similarly you can't make everyone happy in life but at least your decision should not hurt someone in future , manik said

Nandini was all silent

Nandini , just listen to your heart .... just make sure whatever you choose you should be happy with it .... but just make one thing sure that "jab jiske saath ho to puri tarah ussi ke saath ho" because at that moment you won't have time to regret about something! Manik exclaimed

You are right manik!nandini exclaimed

And I promise you one thing that if you did want to come back to me   , no issues and even I promise that I won't come to your life back and won't trouble you ! All the best , manik exclaimed getting up

Ahhh! I forgot he exclaimed taking out an invitation card

What is this ? Nandini question

This is the invitation to our school REUNION party , that is after 2 days ..... if you want to come back to me then do come to the party and if you don't then just ignore it and I'll understand your answer! Manik said giving her the card

Nandini looked at the card and then at Manik

Choose wisely , I'll be waiting for you ! He said and left

Nandini just looked at him while he left ! And looked at the card
