Nandini beta, meet Mr Raj Malhotra and his son Manik Malhotra, the man said introducing Nandini to them

Nandini looked at them and there was complete silence at that moment , she could feel shiver in her entire body ......she couldn't digest the fact the person she used to love once is standing in front of her after 7 years ....

Both Manik and and Nandini were looking at each other maybe they were having all the flashbacks in there head.....

Nandini ? What happened? Siddharth voice broke there trance and they both realise where they are

Nothing, she replied

And she went and touched maniks dad feet !

No no beta, girls don't touch feet ! You are like my daughter . Manik dad said stopping Nandini

She just passed a smile to him

And then she looked at Manik who was already looking at her

Both didn't knew what to say how to react !

Hie ! Nandini exclaimed

Hi, manik exclaimed

Are Malhotra I forgot to tell you
She is Nandini , Priya's best friend actually they both have done graduation together from Canada and soon she'll be a family member too . The man said

Family member? Maniks dad asked

Once we are done with Priya's wedding we gonna have Nandini and Siddharth engagement soon ! The man said

Siddharth was smiling as he was happy listening his engagement news ,

Nandini was just standing there still not able to adjust to the fact that the person standing in front of her is manik Malhotra

It was already difficult for manik as he saw her and above the fact this news broke him further more ,

Both father son was standing there not knowing what to do next

Congratulations ! Maniks dad exclaimed

Thank you , the man exclaimed

Dad lets go Priya was calling us, Siddharth exclaimed

Yah! Malhotra you please enjoy the party , I'll talk to you later... the man said and start to leave

Nandini was standing there !

Nandini , come lets go ! Siddharth exclaimed and hold her hand

Yah! Nandini replied and start to walk with him but her mind was just thinking about Manik

Manik was also looking at her , seeing her go away with another person holding hands

Soon he saw Siddharth placing his hand on Nandini's waist while they were posing for a picture , Nandini was completely lost and it was clear from her face .

She looked into the direction where manik was standing
He looked at her and she looked at him ,
he looked so different and handsome

Nandini where are you  lost? Siddharth asked her

Nothing, she replied trying to act normal

Then Siddharth adjusted her hair strands which were falling on her face and hold her hand tightly

Manik could see everything
He just clutched his hand in anger , this was the nightmares he was talking about , it is painful when you are separated or away from the person you love but it's more painful when you see the same with someone else .....

Manik I guess we should leave before things get ugly here, maniks dad said and both came out of the venue and sat inside the car

There was complete silence in the car

Driver stop the car at a corner , manik dad told the driver

What happened dad? Manik questioned

Come with me , his dad said
His dad took out two beer cans from the car
And both came out of the car ..... they stopped the car near the marine drive ,
Both of them went near  the shore and both sat over there  his dad handed him one beer can ,

Manik took it and both opened the can  and start drinking

Cold breeze were hitting there face and the moonlight was giving them the inner peace ,

She looks more beautiful in reality than in  the picture, his dad said , while taking sip from the can

Hmm, manik replied looking at the sea

Kuch bhi nhi khaega? His dad asked

Khane se kya hoga dad, ab tak atleast ek jhooti hope ke saath he jee Raha tha but Aaj toh woah bhi tut gyi, manik said

Tut nhi hai Abhi! His dad said

Matlab? Manik asked

Nandini ki engagement hue nhi hai abhitak, his dad said

Toh kya hua , fixed toh ho gyi ! Manik said

Toh kya hua, what if Nandini break the engagement! His dad said

Dad  what are you saying , I can't understand anything, manik exclaimed

Look manik, I know how much you love Nandini  and I guess she loves you too it's just the anger overpowering her ! His dad said

How can you be so sure that she still have something for me ? I don't think she has anything left for me , if she would have , then she would have definitely came back to me ,Manik said

Did you approached her in these years , but you love her right so she might be going through same situation, and I can say that because today I saw the pain in her eyes when she was looking at you , itna experience hai Tere baap ke pass ki dhek ke pata Chal jaye, his dad said

But still dad , nothing can happen now! Manik said

You are such an negative person manik , if I would be at your place I would have tried my level best even if I got to know that she is married I wouldn't lose hope ..... his dad said

Dad , stop drinking I guess you are getting high , manik exclaimed taking away the beer can from his dad

Shut up manik! And now it's time for you to get high in life ! Bahut jee liye Devdas ki tarah , khub sharab pe li akele mei baithe ke now it's time to be a Kabir Singh
Agar apna pyar wapis chaiye toh you need to fight for it and do everything possible , his dad said

Are you sure dad? Manik asked

His dad said

You are right dad ! I have nothing to loose , It's enough now , from now onwards I am going to everything possible to get her back in my life ... Manik exclaimed and stood up

Thank you dad, thank you so much for being my strength , manik exclaimed hugging his dad

I love you my son and I can do anything for your happiness , his dad exclaimed hugging him
