Fang pov
"Let's get back to the mansion, it's almost 12. Don't want to be skinned alive by Logan, very slow and painful death. Although if slits my throat. I wouldn't mind dying that way." He says.
"You're not dying anytime soon. We are going to be together till the end of the line." I say.
"Yeah, till the end of the line." He says back. We get to the bike and that's when Fang's face pretty much pales like a ghost. On the side of the bike was a scratch, some small Prius had scratched the side backing out. Fang had chased the car down but the guy drove away before we could ask more. "What color do you want your coffin to be?" I ask.
"Oh you know, black, plain and simple, but put on top 'Im haunting you in your sleep Logan'." I say.
"I was thinking more along the lines of 'If I had 9 lives, I would devote all of them to killing you Logan." Max says.
We head back to the mansion and Max makes fun of me by saying a eulogy for my ore funeral. It went something like this:
"Dear Fang, love of my life, dearest friend, devoted seeker of darkness, you will be missed. Unlike all of your other friends who will be morning your great loss, I will be shovling pizza in my mouth, while laughing about how you thought Logan would never kill you for just a small scratch. I guess you were wrong, well we can clearly see that by your dead body in front of me. Hope you haunt Logan in your sleep. RIP dude."
"Very funny." I say not laughing. We get to the mansion and Logan sees the bike. He looks furious. "What did you do to the bike?"
"Logan, you have full permission to skin me alive, just not in front of Max." I say.
"I'm not mad." Logan says.
"What?" I ask.
"It's my daughters bike, she left it here when she went off to Canada." He states.
"Seriously?"
"You're off the hook kid, this time, but don't think I'm soft, id that was my bike, you would be dead right now. Although I won't say the same thing about my daughter. She might come visit and you still have a chance of being killed." He says walking off.
"There's a second person with claws?" I ask Max. She shrugs and we head inside to our rooms.

Angel pov
"The war isn't over yet, is it?" I ask the professor when he called me to his office the next morning. "I just got intel from the UN. They had troops storm the base, and they found evidence that showed that the Founders survived, not all of them, but enough to still make an army." He says.
"Where do you want me?" I ask.
"I want you here, you'll be keeping an eye on all the kids. Although I know you're smart, if you can get down to the computer room, you have full access to the files, I'm giving you one time permission to hack into the founders base." He says.
"Your kidding." I say.
"No, we need the files so we can find a way to stop this war, and fast." He says. I leave and go and find Fang and Max.
"So how did the date go?" I ask.
"We ate dinner, talked about life and on Fang almost got skinned alive." She says.
"Wait what!?" I ask confused.
"Okay so Logan said that fang could borrow his bike, we found out it was his daughters, but anyways we were coming back to the bike after eating and someone scratched it really bad. Logan had told us that if he saw a scratch on his bike he would skin Fang alive." She concludes.
"Alright?" I say not knowing what else to say.
I hear running coming near Max's room, it's Storm. "Forest Fire, we believe that the Founders did it. Are you coming?"
"I'll come, Max just got back, why don't you stay here?" I say and then tell Max.
"Fine, but be very careful. I want you back in one piece. Not charred alive. Love you, stay near Logan, he'll keep you safe."
"I will, love you too." I leave and run to the jet with storm right behind me. We have a fire to stop. When we get to the jet Logan, Jean, and Bobby. Jean and Storm go to the cockpit to start take off. The fire is in San Antonio, Texas by my calculations we should be there in under 2 hours. "So Logan, what have you been up to recently?" Bobby asks. "Went to Canada for a week to see Nina, Jack and her are expecting to have a kid."
"Max told me you had a daughter, how old is she?"
"21."
"How Jack taking it?" Bobby asks.
"He's been punched, tackled and thrown up on at least 5 times in the past 2 weeks."
"I think that's a record." Bobby says.
"How is he still alive!" I ask.
"He's known her since she was 16. He has been to death and back with her." Jack says.
"Okay then...." I'm saved by Jean saying that we are landing and that we should prepare to evacuate all the wounded and trapped.
"Angel you get the left side with Logan. Bonny your with Jean, and I'm with the main firefighters. Let's go!" Storm says.
Logan and I went through ten houses in under 30 minutes. Logan has gotten the worst of the burns. I think I have a few on my arm and one on my shoulder, first degree only. We are heading back towards the right side of the fire when I hear a small kids voice yell "Help! Please help me! My mommy and daddy, I don't know where there are! I'm trapped!" The little boy as it turns out starts crying. He's stuck on the second floor of a old tutor style home. "I could scale the wall but I'm afraid the structure is to weak." Logan says.
"I could levitate him, but I can sense the parents are still inside, trapped in the other side of the house." I say.
"I'll get the parents, worry about the kid." And then right before my eyes he vanished. Scary!
I levitate the little boy out of the window and now down to me. I check him out and he seems to have a few cuts, scrapes, and smoke inhalation but that's it. I take him to the EMT's and then go find Logan. He's carrying a baby. The two parents are behind him. To be honest Logan looks like he was burned alive but doesn't seem to notice. The parents look a little shaken but either than that their fine.
We get back to the jet and sit down. "The fire wasn't so bad. It's not as hot as some of the fires I've been in."
"Seriously?! You've walked around in fire worse than this?" Logan smiled. "Yep. But it's not always fun and games. One time a kid was too close when a house exploded."
"What?! Are they ok?" Logan smiled faintly. "Yeah. She's fine now. My daughter is a tough one." I help treat Logan's wounds and then we sleep all the way back to the mansion.
