✒︎Y/n hums a small tune as he places a brick onto a freshly placed mortar.
"We didn't come here to be labourers."
Kazuma states as he lays another brick just like Y/n did. Unlike the other two who are sitting on the scaffolding, Y/n is floating in the air without any support.
"Oh! That's right! I need you to defeat the devil king, or I'll never be able to return home!"
Aqua whines a bit as she looks over. Kazuma blankly stares at her and looks over at Y/n who's busy having the time of his life by effortlessly laying the brick down to the point he's nearly finished the whole wall for them.
"It seems he's having fun..."
Kazuma murmurs and watches Y/n hums his little tune louder as he floats to the ground only to earn a raise with how much work he's effortlessly doing.
"HAH?! WE DID MORE WORK THAN HIM!"
Kazuma shouts but Y/n ignores it and waves happily from the nice stable ground.
"Come on~! Your shift just ended!^^"
Y/n happily states and like a bolt of lighting the two join him on the ground. Just like normal, they arrive at the baths and Kazuma joins Y/n on the male's side.
Y/n undresses and wears a singular towel. He decided to leave his blindfold with his clothes as he didn't want it to get wet. While Kazuma soaks he thinks back on some things.
Her intelligence is lower than an average human. All the monsters near town have been killed so there are no fetch quests... This isn't the adventurer lifestyle I want...
Kazuma sighs and his head goes under the water only to shoot back out as he meets eye contact with beautiful blue eyes gazing at him from under the water.
"What the hell?!"
Kazuma exclaims and Y/n laughs loudly after emerging from the water.
"Hahaha~! You Should have seen your face! Such a shame I don't have my phone on me."
Y/n states and he rests his arms on the side and places his head on them. His white hair drips lightly and his skin practically shimmers like a diamond from the water droplets.
This man... Is annoyingly handsome. So much in fact I want to punch him.
Kazuma glares and gets out of the bath. He could feel Y/n's eyes follow his frame making him rush out quicker making the male chuckle lightly.
"Hmm. It's dull being alone..."
Y/n ponders and decided to stay in the bath for a little while longer.

Aqua drinks from her milk and looks up to see the two male's she was waiting on. For once she actually looks like a Goddess, her skin glowing in the setting sun and her blue hair waves lightly and Y/n could tell Kazuma was admiring her for a second. He thinks after all the male held the same look in the baths before it turned into a sour glare.
