The first one to wake is Aqua for once, she groans quietly and sits for a moment with an empty look on her face. Turning to her left she gets a surprise seeing Kazuma spread out on top of Y/n who some how still sleeps comfortably even though a hand is digging into his cheek. Y/n starts to wake up and as he sits up, Kazuma falls off and he is completely oblivious to last nights sleeping arrangements.
"Mornin'!"
Y/n yawns out and stretches his body. Aqua quietly greets him with a suspicious face but goes into a different room of the barn to change into her Goddess attire. Kazuma and Y/n change together, their backs to each other and soon join Aqua as they walk into town.
"Last night was the best piece of sleep I ever had! I wonder why?"
Y/n boasts and both of his party members tense up and awkwardly brush him off.
"W- who knows..."
"Definitely not me..."

Aqua states as she sits across from Y/n and Kazuma.
It's been more than half a day but no hero has come to join.
Kazuma sighs as he stares at a pair of fighters who walk out while talking. Y/n just zones out, completely gone.

Y/n states making Aqua whine and Kazuma had to agree with Y/n with how stupid Aqua sounded on the poster.
"Let's lower the bar okay? Recruiting those in advanced jobs only is way too strict."
Kazuma states and Aqua starts to tear up while looking at the floor. Y/n smiles and gently ruffles her hair making Aqua scowl at him.
"You messed my hair up-!!!"
She tries to style it back to normal and her teary façade fades.
"There, no more crying! Back to the Aqua-sama we all hate!"
Y/n cheerfully states and she glares at him.
"Is that your way to try and cheer me up?! Well it sucked! Keep your dirty Weeb hands away from my pure Goddess locks!!!"
Kazuma sits back as Y/n laughs at Aqua's response and he sighs. The two strongest in this party are both complete idiots. Dear lord, please bless us with an actual useful companion! Kazuma begs just as someone approaches the table.
"I happened to notice your recruitment poster."
The group quickly snap their necks in the direction of the speaker and standing there is a short wizard in different shades of red. An eyepatch covers one of her red eyes and she greets the group in a poetic kind of way.
