Elijah pov

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE CURSE HAS NOT BEEN BROKEN FULLY" Klaus yells, whilst strangling a women in her 30s who seems to be a witch. how unfortunate. more body's to clean up. "i-i d-d don't know how" says the witch trying to grasp her breath.

"brother, why not let the witch speak before you kill her" i say stoping Klaus's fangs from coming out. He looks at me softly before letting the witch go. After she was finished coughing she stood up, stumbling a bit. I think i heard her mumble 'thank the gods' before looking me in my eyes and then back at the man who nearly killed her.

"what i mean to say was you unlocked your werewolf side but you cannot make any hybrids" i looked at her then back at Klaus who was now looking at me, as if to ask permission to snap her neck. "what do you man by that" "i mean someone who was able to use ancient magic" she says nervously and shaking. Now  it was Klaus's turn to speak "what do you mean ancient magic" he says with a confused and curious look. "it will be better if you sit down because this is gonna be quite bad for you Klaus", she says shaking and looking down. Klaus looked at her with a glint of anger before turning back to me.

"what do you think Elijah" he says "well, we might as well hear her out and try to find out who used this .... ancient magic" i say with a straight face. He looked at me and nodded approvingly and then looked back at the witch "you better tell the truth because if i find out that you are lying, death won't be your only problem to deal with" he says with a smirks that made the witch shiver as he spoke and nodded still looking at the ground, probably afraid to look us in the eyes.

After taking our seats she finally decided to speak after a minute of silence, probably deciding the bet wording on how to explain it.

" some people a long time ago came across Loki the god of mischief and made a deal, no one knows what it is or how they met him but he allowed them to access magic without natures approval" she says looking at klaus and back at me as if needing permission to continue.

A simple nod and she continued " nature wouldn't stand for it but couldn't go against Loki in fear something would bring its wrath down upon her, so she taught some humans magic and they were named witches"
"At least that was how witches were created, you must have come into counter it's it's descendant" she finished looking down.

Turning my head slightly I could see klaus in thought and exuded it would be best ti follow his lead.
