After the truck incident Elijah had decided it was best to take away any and every vehicle his siblings had in there possession, even going as far to install a tracking device in the phones because he was not taking any chances.

Gathering his siblings took a longer time seeing as klaus wouldn't stop harassing Damon and Rebekah stalking Caroline. Kol was a problem that no one would want and the other 2 were somewhat more responsible for there actions.

But after 30 min with no success he decided to go on the group chat seeing it's the only way he would get a respond.
