Piper P.O.V
We all meet up at the front of the hotel. Everyone says their goodbyes. "Be careful little sis. I love you!" Annabeth says to Skyler. "I will." she answers. "Perseus Jackson you better protect my baby sister! If anything happens to her I will squ-" Annabeth starts. "Annabeth I will be fine!" Skyler grunts. Percy chuckles. I walk over to Mazel. "Bye stay safe!" Mallen tells Hazel before giving her a quick hug. Everyone says their goodbyes when Jason walks over to me. "Hey Pipes, good luck. Oh and try not to die!" he says. I feel Reyna's glare but I ignore it. The sun necklace group leaves and the moon starts walking. "So how do we get to Hollywood from China?" Rashmi asks. "There is a tunnel underground that makes it only a short walk to Vegas." Hazel says. "Let's go." I say. We reach the tunnel entrance and all go in. The tunnel is dark and has cold water dripping from it. "I think this is the way." Nico says. "Children of Hades, am I right." I whisper to Skyler, making her giggle. After about a mile of walking Rashmi speaks up "Ok I thought this thing was short! This place is creepy!" "Aren't you supposed to be a child of Hades?" Percy asks. "Come on guys it isn't that bad." Skyler says. After a few more steps she screams and jumps the highest I have ever seen and lands in Percy arms. She buries her head in his chest and screams. I am an inwardly fan girling. "Snake, Snake, Snake!" she screams. "What happened to this not being scary." Nico laughs. "Skye it's a harmless little garden snake." Percy says. "Well you know how Annabeth is cursed to have a fear of spiders....yeah I have a curse for snakes." she says. "Wait, did Archile just decide 'oh hey let's make this one different!'" Nico asks. Skyler shrugs her shoulders. Nico makes the snake disappear and Percy sets Skyler down. "I ship!" I whisper to Percy. He rolled his eyes but I saw him smile. After another mile Hazel stops. "This should be it." she says. Nico opens the ceiling of rock and we climb out. "Woah where are we?" I ask. Percy looks up. "Were at the Lotus Casino." Nico says grumply. "We don't need to go in though." Hazel says. We walk past to the taxi place. "Can we please get a ride to Hollywood?" I ask with my charmspeak. "Nice try, Aphrodite kiddo!" he says. My eyes widen and so does everyone elses. "Yes I'm an adult demi-god. There's some demi-god money in there." he says pointing at the Lotus casino. "I guess we don't have a choice." Percy mumbles. "Just in and out. I don't wanna get stuck here for another 50 years!" Nico says.
Percy P.O.V
I have been here before and got stuck. It can't happen again. I walk in. Immediately I feel the rush to play. I fight it. I think anyone who's been here can resist it. I grip Skyler's hand. She looks around the entire casino. I look over and see Nico snatch some money from a random purse. I turn to Skyler but she isn't there. Oh no. "Nico, Hazel, Piper I can't find Skyler anywhere!" I yell. "I can't find Rashmi either." Hazel says. "Wait, is that Skyler talking to that incredibly good looking kid." Piper asks. I turn around sure enough she is. She is laughing with a tall blonde boy. Jealousy rushes over me. "Percy wait." Piper yells. I don't really care I march over to her and grab her wrist. "Time to go!" I say, dragging her out of the casino. "Per-" she starts. I cut her off. Once we're outside we pay the driver and hop in. "What happened?" Skyler asks. "Uh you kinda got distracted.." Piper says. Nico chuckles and I punch him in the arm. "I do not remember that!" Rashmi says. After 30 minutes I look over and Skyler is asleep on my shoulder. I do not want to wake her up so I just stay still. "Percy..." she mumbles. She talks in her sleep. I giggle. After an hour she wakes up and we all hop out. Piper makes hearts with her hands and waves them at me. I laugh. We walk up to the Hollywood sign. "Ready?" I ask. "Let's do this!" Rashmi says. We all jump into Tartarus holding hands.
