Dinner in rome

Annabeth P.O.V

I thank my boyfriend Jake and start driving the huge ship he made towards Hollywood. After two days I arrived. I see my sister, Rashmi, Nico, Percy, Hazel and Piper all sitting outside chatting. "Hey guys!" I say "Hey!" they all say. "Did you get the ship?" Hazel asks. "Ya Jake did a really good job!" I say. We all walk over to the ship and hop on. "Welcome aboard the Tempton II." I say in my gameshow voice. "It's huge!" I hear Rashmi say. "We need to leave for New York right now though." Nico says. "Guys let's go check out the bowling alley!" Hazel says. They all run off. The rest of the 3 days are just eating, sleeping, doing an activity on the ship and driving. Once we get to New York I see Frank, Leo, Jason, Reyna, Thalia and Mallen sitting on the pier waiting for us. "I'll go get them," Rashmi says.

Rashmi P.O.V

"Hey guys!" I say while walking to the pier. "Melowski! What's up?" Jason asks. "The ship is amazing!" I say. "Come on." I add. Once there aboard everyone wants to check things out. Soon everyones gone. "Hey Rash, I talked to Leo just now. I think he's going to give up on asking you out." Skyler says glumly. "Wait what?" I ask. "Rash we have been friends since we were together. I know you like him. Ask him out before it's too late!" she says. "I will." I say. "There is a romantic fountain with a garden." she says. "So how's you and Percy?" I am trying to change the subject. "Well Annabeth and him broke up, but he hasn't really asked me out. I think he just doesn't like me. I'm going to have to learn to deal with it." she says. "Your the smartest person I know but when it comes to boys you're as dumb as a doorbell." I say giggling. "After dinner ask Leo out." she reminds me while walking away. I giggle. Around 6:00 dinner is ready in the main dinning hall and we come in. Everyones here except Mallen and Hazel. "Guys where is Mazel?" Piper asks. "Probably making out somewhere." Leo says. Everyone laughs. "Are you crazy those innocent souls wouldn't dare!" Jason exclaims. Just then Mazel walks in holding hands. They take a seat.

Percy P.O.V

Everyone takes a seat at the long table in the dining hall. I sit next to Skyler and on my other side Jason sits down. Oh great. I roll my eyes. Annabeth also sits down in front of her sister. Piper and Reyna also sit down next to Jason. "I can't believe we have no clue where the other half of the moon necklace is." Annabeth says. "I wish. The moon necklace glows when the other half is near." Skyler says. "Let's play choose between two." Piper says. "What's that?" Jason asks. "You give answers to scenarios and people choose. Or it can be about people." she answers. "Ok." Skyler adds. "First question, which godly parent Apollo or Athena." Reyna asks. "Athena obviously!" Annabeth and Skyler say at the same time. They start chuckling right after. "I'm sorry I have to say Apollo." Jason says. Skyler dramatically fakes being offended. "I'm sorry I just want to be good at archery." Jason says. Everybody else picks Athena. The game goes on like that for a few questions when Piper stops. "Ok enough of these lame questions, who's a better girlfriend Reyna or me?" she asks. Reyna perks up as if looking for the answer. "Um Piper I guess." Annabeth says. "I think Reyna." I say. Skyler scoffs. I smirk at her. "Piper." Jason mumbles. Reyna looks like she's trying not to cry. "I say Reyna because you guys are equal." Skyler says. Then it's a tie. "I have a question. Who is more attractive, Jason or me?" I ask. I only really want to hear Skyler's answer. "Jason." Piper says. "Um Jason I guess." Reyna mumbles. "Jason." Annabeth says while glancing down. Everyone burst out laughing. "Why did you date Percy then?" Jason asks. "Cause I liked him." Annabeth says. Ok I guess everyone likes Jason better than me. "I have to admit, when I first saw Percy it was like a highway compared to a dirt road." Piper giggles. I know they mean no offence but that stings a little. I get up and walk away. I sit in my cabin and throw my shoe at the wall. A dirt road to a highway. Is it really that bad? Ugh stupid Jason. Even if Skyler liked me before she probably realizes I'm ugly now. Ugh! I feel a tear run down my cheek. I hear a knock on the door. "Percy it's me." a gentle voice says. I can tell it was Skyler. I quickly wipe my tears. "Come in" I say in my regular voice. She opens the door holding my plate from dinner. "I thought you might be hungry." she says. She places the plate down on my table and takes a seat. "Percy why did you leave?" she asks. I sigh. "Piper said it was like a dirt road compared to a highway. Am I really that bad?" I ask. "No Percy, you're just as good as Jason." she says. "Thanks." I mumble. "For the record, I was going to say you." she adds. My jaw drops. She winks at me before walking out. "Get out Grays." I shout. When she is gone I do my little happy dance and smile.
