Percy, Frank and I walk towards the poolside cafe that says "Bills, burger shack." "Let's sit here." Frank says pulling out a chair. I notice a waiter walk over. "I'm Edward, your waiter for today. What can I get you." he says. He must have had a bad day because he was pouting and grumpy. "I will get the cheeseburger, with fries and water." Percy says. "I will have the same thing as him." I say not wanting to make the waiter's life harder. "Same for me." Frank says. The waiter repeats our order then walks away. "Can I ask you guys a question?" Frank asks. "Sure." I say. "What happened to your mortal parent and what's your relationship with your godly one. I mean I know Percy's is good but I know nothing about your Skye." he says. My face falls, I hate talking about it. "My dad was a data architect. Once Athena left, my dad remarried when I was 7. My step mom hated me because my dad thought I was so special. I had a step sister and a brother. Every night snakes would come. I was scared out of my mind. My step mom would hit me and hurt me. I never told my dad because he loved her and I wanted him happy. One day a cyclops attacked and killed my father. Athena did nothing to help. My step mom kicked me out as a little 7 year old. Then Luke and Annabeth brought me back to camp. I don't like my mother because I go on quest all the time and not once has she helped me or talked to me. She talks to Annabeth though. At least I had my sister. I also had Luke. He and I we're really close. We used to have movie nights every monday." I say. Percy and Frank are both really pale. "Oh wow I'm +really sorry." Frank says. "It's not your fault Athena is a terrible mother to me but amazing to Annabeth and Malcolm." I say. "Well Mars came to visit me and Mallen one time and he comes on our birthdays and sometimes answers prayers. Other than that nothing." Frank says. The waiter comes back with our food and we eat in silence. Once we're done Percy starts talking. "Big battle tomorrow." he says. "Exactly." I add. We all get up when our waiter comes back. "Wait a second," he says. All of a sudden he turns into a cyclops. "How is that even possible?" Frank yells. "He used mist to make him look normal." I yell back. We all start attacking from different angles. Frank turns into a goat and starts ramming it. The cyclops must be young because it's no taller than 7ft. "Ouch stop it." it yells. It continues to plead for mercy and starts crying. I notice Percy running up to stab it. "Wait stop!" I scream at the top of my lungs. Everybody freezes. "What's your name?" I ask. Feels weird to baby someone who is 2ft taller than you. Percy and Frank give me what on earth are you doing look. "Dingo." he whispers quietly. "It's ok we won't hurt you." I say. "Well you're bear friend tried to eat me and your water friend tried to stab me." he cried. He did have a good point. "It's ok what are you doing here?" I ask. "Poisideon and Tyson asked me to give Percy Jackson this." he said, showing a whistle to us. "That's me." Percy said grabbing it. "It's our first family picture!" Percy exclaims. "Press that button." Dingo says. Percy presses a blue button on the side and out comes a blue cookie. "Woah tell my brother I said thanks." Percy adds. Dingo leaves clearly afraid. "If you hadn't stopped us we would have killed an innocent cyclops trying to do my brother a favor." Percy says. I nod. I notice Frank standing still and not blinking. "Frank?" I ask. No answer. "FRANK?" I say louder. Still nothing. "Percy why isn't he responding!" I yell. "I don't know, let's get him to Will." Percy suggests. Percy picks Frank up and we run towards the other restaurants. "What are you doing?" Frank asks. "Frank!" I yell. Percy puts Frank down and sighs. "What happened?" I ask. "My dad talked to me. He gave me some tips and told me this would be the hardest battle we face." Frank says. "Wow everyone's godly parents are giving them gifts and advice and I don't even get a hello." I say. "Maybe there is a reason?" Frank suggested. I scoff. We walk back to our usual meeting place. Everyone is already there. Annabeth runs up to me. "Skye mom talked to me!" she says. "She didn't talk to me." I say grumpily. "Did your parents talk to you?" I ask. Everyone nods. "The main points are just this is going to be the hardest battle ever; you may die, good luck. I love you." Leo says. "Ok." I mumble. "Everyone get some sleep." Jason says.I walk up to my shared room with Rashmi. "Do you think my mom knows I exist?" I ask. "Obviously she claimed you." Rashmi says. "Plus you're really popular at camp half blood how could she not." "She didn't claim me." I admit. "What?" Rashmi asks. "Chiron just knew because he had documented Athena giving birth to me." I say. "Oh I'm sure she knows you though." Rashmi says. "Thanks." I say. I drift off to sleep.
