Chapter 5

"Say..Tazuna-san." Sakura asked on their trip towards their destination.

"What is it?"

"Your country is 'The Land of the Waves,' right?" Sakura said.

"What of it?"

"Say Kakashi-sensei, are their ninjas in that land too?" Sakura asked.

"No, there aren't any ninjas in the Land of the Waves, but in other nations, while cultures and customs are different, hidden villages do exist." Kakashi rambled on the rest where Akiko did not listen to and wandered into the land of the thoughts.

I'm so bored....

What to make for dinner...

I want to see my other parents.. Akiko sighed once more, tuning out of Kakashi's mini lesson.

"No kidding! Lord Hokage is that incredible!"

I wonder if that old man is really that incredible, sounds fishy. Sakura thought.

No way! That old man lost to my sexy jutsu! Naruto thought.

Can't possibly be right...? He gave in so easily to 2 year old me... Akiko thought.

"Hey. You guys just doubted Lord Hokage, didn't you?" Kakashi said as the 4 stopped in their tracks. Akiko, Naruto, and Sakura shook their heads and let out a nervous laugh as they continued walking.

"Well, don't worry. There are no ninja battles in rank C missions." Kakshi sensei said.

"Then there's no worry!" Sakura said, smiling.

This is all suspicious. It's a C rank mission and no ninjas will attack anyways, why Tazuna even ask for this anyways. Though I can't be sure right now... Akiko thought. The team continued walking coming across a puddle.

This sus also, there was no rain before and it's a dry sunny day. Akiko thought again and threw a kunai at the puddle and looked at Kakashi who caught her glance and eyed the puddle.

"Akiko, what are you doing-" just before Sakura can finish, a ninja popped out of the puddle with a kunai struck on his arm.

"How did you know!" The ninja said looking at Akiko and glaring at her.

"What a stupid question. There was no rain over the week, and it's a sunny day today. Then why would there be a puddle of water out of nowhere?" Akiko said with her hand on her hips. The ninja tried to attack Akiko.

"Akiko!" Sakura yelled.

"Guys! Protect Tazuna!" Akiko yelled.

Akiko POV

Kunais were thrown at me. A chain was thrown at Kakashi as they teared his body apart.

Substitution jutsu!

"Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto yelled as Sakura screamed.

"You're next." The two ninjas appeared behind me. I laughed as my eyes shone ruby red and my white hair fluttered.

"Hah, how funny!" I laughed as the two mist ninjas grew angrier and throwing the chains at me. I jumped into the air as so did Sasuke, getting out what we practiced. Sasuke threw a shuriken holding back the chain as I threw a Kunai to secure it.

"Tsk! It won't come off!" The two ninjas then dispatched their chains and went for the old man and Naruto.

"Oh hell no." I said as I threw the one charging at Naruto to a tree as a 'crack' noise was heard as I threw the ninja to the tree. Half of the tree came tumbling down.

"Oooooh, that musta hurt." I said as Naruto grimaced. I looked over to see that the other Ninja was heading for Sakura.

Eh, she can die. But then Sasuke appeared before the ninja.

"Nu-uh."

Sasuke POV

I jumped in front of Sakura, preparing to take the hit as I closed my eyes but felt no impact and opened my eyes once again. A slow motion of white hair flowing and red eyes with determination. Akiko kicked the ninja right in the face as the ninja was out cold.

"Are you guys ok?" Akiko asked.

I smirked.

"yea."

3rd POV once again :D

"Oops, I guess I was too late. Yo!" Kakashi sensei said, appearing out of nowhere as the team sighed, disappointed

Kakashi Sensei! He's alive! Sakura thought.

Naruto looked shocked.

"T-then what was that." Naruto, turning back to where Kakashi was 'killed' which so happens to be that there's a pile of wood.

"Naruto, it was the substitution jutsu." Akiko said looking at Kakashi.

" Sorry I didn't help you guys right away, but at least you're all safe." Kakashi said.

Akiko looked at the direction of the ninjas.

This is getting more and more suspicious.

"You did a good job Akiko, and so did you, Sasuke, Sakura." Kakashi Sensei said as Akiko looked towards Naruto with a sympathetic look.

"Hey! Are you hurt, scaredy cat?" Sasuke said giving a smirk towards Naruto causing Akiko to sigh. Walking up towards him and falling making Sasuke carry her which he did not mind, I wonder why... *wink wink smirk*

"Lets go Naruto, Sasuke. We have a long way to go." Akiko said as she closed her eyes, and began to sleep but opened her eyes once more and hopped off Sasuke.

"Tazuna-San." You said, the bridge builder's eyes looked towards you.

"I find this very suspicious." Akiko said as Tazuna began to sweat while Kakashi looked amused.

"Kakashi-sensei said that on a C rank mission, there will be no fighting and no conflicts, yet here we are. How come? How come that you purchased for a C rank mission yet Jonin ninjas are coming after us?" Akiko asked eyeing the old man.

"This mission is too much for us genin. Lets give it up. Naruto also have poison in his hands!" Sakura said. (Shut it, Sakura Useless Haruno, talk when you're older.)

"This sure is a burden." Kakashi said as he eyed Naruto. Naruto clenched his jaws and stabbed his hands. Cue the dramatic moments!

"You know, you'll lose blood and die right? Naruto?" Akiko said as she went back to laying on Sasuke's hand and snuggled on his chest.

While somewhere out there, a legendary S-ranked cow will appear...
