AYE, I just got back home from taking the state exam and I wished for Childe....and got Bar-bruh.

"All of you, thanks for coming." I think this guy's name was Jirochi..? Naruto walked up and began his introductions.

"Begging you pardon! Begging your pardon! I was born and raised in the Leaf Village in the Land of Fire. I was bathed in birth water at 'Ichiraku Ramen'. My given name is Naruto and the surname is uzumaki. People call me"

"Loser/Usuratonkachi."

"Usuratonkachi... Wait, that's not what they call me!" The old man laughed.

"you're funny as usual." Jirocho said.

"Boss Jirocho, you're looking good yourself." naruto said.

"Oi Naruto!" Sakura whispered.

"That's ok. A boy should be this spunky." The boss said.

"The greetings seem to be done, so I'll get to the main topic. The fifth Hokage told us to get the details of this mission from you." Sasuke said.

"Yes, in fact, Do you know of the Dedication Ceremony at the Todoroki Great Shrine?" Jirocho asked.

"To...Todo...what?" (Nah nah, It's SHOTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

"Well, make yourselves comfortable." Jirocho said as the four sat down.

"the legend goes. A long time ago, in order to subdue a storm, Ryuko's Jewels were dedicated to the Todoroki Great Shrine and the storm subsided. It became a customary event that happens once every four years. At first, it was just dedicated jewels, but several decades ago, it became a festival in which the first place runner became the man of the year. In recent years, the festival has taken on another face. For ages now, in this port town of Degarashi, two families, the Wasabi and the Wagarashi have controlled local operations and policed the town. It's embarrassing but conflict between the two families has never ceased and there have been numerous skirmished over territorial rights. As the struggle intensified, the town residents became entangled and even got injured... In order to put a stop to the conflict, for the first time, there was a talk of some kind of mediation in the presence of the lord. And it was agreed that the power holder of the town would be decided in  contest." (I did not write all this for yall to skip it.)

"So that contest is."

"The race. I beg you guys. Please lend us your power. We cannot afford to lose this race to the Wagarashi family!" The old man pleaded.  

"Leave it to us!"

"And, who are we going to escort?" Sasuke asked. 

"Oh, so you'll take this job?" Jirocho clapped his hands. The door opened as a boy appeared.

"Do you need anything, boss-" his eyes widened. It was Morino. 

"YOU!" Naruto and Morino screamed, pointing at each other. 

"Oh, you guys know each other? Then that makes the story fast." Jirocho said. Naruto and Morino glared at each other.

"Boss Jirocho is an important person! By rights, he shouldn't bow his head to a ninja like you!" Morino said to Naruto as they walked through the streets.

"Even if he did bow his head, I'd flatly refuse to escort a guy like you." Naruto argued.

"Oh yea?! As if I'd go with some guy who came from who knows where! (You said you hated leaf village ninjas, how did you know..?!")" He said.

"'From who knows where?!' I am the brilliant Ninja, Naruto Uzumaki, who will later on inherit the hokage name!" Naruto said.

"Hah! Hokage is no big deal"

"Hah! The boss of hooligans is even less of a big deal!"

"You idiot! Boss Jirocho is a very honorable person!"

"The Hokage is someone who puts his life on the line to protect the village!" The two continued to fight as the sunset settled. Sasuke, Sakura and Akiko walked around the streets as Sakura found a keychain she liked. She looked at the price and thought about it.

"Sorry, it's expensive isn't it?" The cashier said.

"Oh no, I didn't mean...."

"We actually don't want to sell at this kind of price, but after the Wagarashi family came into power..." The lady said. A loud crashing noise was heard as the 3 ran towards it. Akiko saw 3 men bullying a guy who supposedly dropped something.

"P-please forgive me!" The guys said.

"How dare you! Do you know who you have to thank to do business?" A guy said

"Are you actually thinking about turning against the Wagarashi Family?" Another one said.

"N-not at all. But I have to get paid..."

"You're slow to understand." The guy with bushy hair began to crack his knuckles.

"P-please stop!" The guys said.

"First of all, I'll destroy you...!" The guy punched the guy but was stopped by Sasuke.

"Wh-who are you!?" Akiko helped the poor guy who was getting bullied.

"Get out of here before you get hurt!" Sasuke said.

"What!? You punk!" The 3 guys attacked as Akiko joined in on the fight.

"We'll lat you go for today!" The two ran away, carrying their boss.

"Such filthy creatures call humans..." Akiko muttered as she dusted her clothes

"Thank you very much!" The guy who was getting bullied said. Akiko nodded as the three left the streets. 

Dawn broke as everyone gathered at the start of the race.

"Wow, I didn't think it was going to be this big. But what kind of race is it?" Naruto said. Sakura began explaining to Naruto the courses. The starting point where we are at right now is the Degarashi Port. Then, we head for the Modoroki Shrine which is the midway point. Then you take one of two Ryuko's jewels from the the shrine and then dedicate it to the Todoroki shrine.

"Don't be an idiot, Naruto!" The sun rose as the race started.

"All right! We're going too!" Naruto yelled as the 4 set off, trailing behind Morino who ran into the forest instead of the boat. They continued to run.  

"Naruto! Don't run over there!" Sakura yelled. Morino ran to the light of the forest, releasing the genjutsu that was set. He fell off the cliff as Naruto caught him. 

"Just be still! We'll pull you up!" The four slowly pulled Morino upward. Naruto still fought with Morino. These two will never stop. They continued to run as they headed to the Sea. They went on the boat as it began to sail. We should be getting there soon. (Ow- my butt- I've been sitting on this chair for ages-) An arrow was thrown on the boat.

"What?" Naruto looked around. Another boat was right behind them. More was thrown as the crew dodged. 

"...This may be a new way to show off my new technique." Akiko said.

"Sakura, take care of Idate." Sasuke went to the other boat as so did Akiko. The rain ninjas from the chunin exams were there. She took out her bow and arrow. (It's like Amber's bow and arrow.) Fire came out of the tip as Akiko aimed for one of the rain ninja. She shot it as he screamed, turning into a puff of smoke.

"A clone... Naruto! Are you done cutting the ropes?!" Akiko yelled to Naruto who was cutting the ropes that latched on to the boat.

"Yea!" He yelled.

"Sasuke, get back to the ship." Akiko commanded. the two jumped back to their ship as it steered away from their enemy. Akiko shot the arrow at the enemies' boat as it caught on fire. The rain shinobis yelled in pain as they were burnt to a crisp. (Yo! We got fried water for dinner!) Sasuke stared at the boat that sunk. They continued their journey.
