Chapter 23

Sasuke's POV

I opened my eyes to see a gold dimension of some sorts.

Where is...this place...? I thought. I heard a voice that was crying and I looked for it. I saw a figure in the distance.

Who's there..! I thought as the figure in front of me looked down.

Me..from long ago? My figure finally raised its head.

"Father and mother didn't have to die!" the other me spoke. Its tear dropped as I recalled my memories. My eyes widened and gasped. The setting immediately turned to the Uchiha compound.

"Everyone was killed....I had no power so...the clan vanished..."

3rd POV

Sasuke twitched in pain as the fight between the sound ninjas continued.

"Ino......why?" Sakura asked.

"I can't let you impress Sasuke without me!" She said and smiled.

"What a bunch of brats, I'll kill you all one by one..." The ninja said. Choji shook and fell on the ground.

"W-what are the two of you thinking!? They're bad news!" Choji said, frightened.

"It's a pain, but it can't be helped! Ino steps out and we men should run?" Shikamaru said.

"Eheheh, Sorry to get you guys involved. But we're a three-man squad after all. We're all in this together, aren't we? (N.O)" Ino said.

"Well, we'll see." Shikamaru said as Choji complained.

"Hehehe, It's ok ofr you to drop out, fatso." Zaku said. (Dang same, I'm also thicc, like actually- ;-;)

Choji stopped and became dead quiet.

"What did that guy just say?" Choji asked.

Shikamaru's eyebrows twitched. That word is taboo to Choji, this guy is screwed.....

"I said if you have a problem, pull out, fatso." Zaku said. The word 'fatso' rang in Choji's head. He turned around.

"I'm not fat! I'm just a little chubby!" Choji began raging as chakra swirled around him. He has officially became fired up.

"Sasuke-kun...." Sakura looked at the 3.

"Sakura." Ino said.

"The three behind.....take care of them." Sakura looked at Ino, but nodded and smiled.

"Okay!"

Ino faced back towards the rest of the sound nin.

"Well then, Team Ino, let's go full power mode! Formation Ino!"

"Shika!"

"Cho!"

"I'm counting on you, Choji!" Ino yelled at Choji.

"Okay! Expansion Jutsu!" smoke puffed as Choji turned into a round ball.

"Leaf style taijutsu!" He yelled as he stuffed his arms and legs in.

"Human Boulder!" He rolled towards Zaku who was un phased (Bro, is this even the correct word-).

"What is this jutsu huh?" He smirked.

"Slicing sound wave!" Zaku yelled. The air kept on blasting at Choji's human boulder. Zaku began to have trouble.

"You....!" He powered up the wind as Choji jumped into the air.

"Tch!" Dosu, the bandaged sound shinobi ran towards his comrade who going to be crushed.

Shikamaru began his jutsu.
