I wake up to the sound of people running around, commanding orders to others about someone's arrival outside my door. They were pretty loud so I was forced to get up without resistance as the light outside my window blinds me as a peak of the curtain was open. I sit up and stretch every limb in my body and accidentally kicking a furry creature at the bottom of the bed. I slowly come too that I had kicked poor Cody which had woken him up from his quiet slumber. How did Cody get in? Did Jack let him in? I crawl out of the covers toward him and wrap my arms around him, cuddling him tightly. Who cares. He purrs almost like a cat when I hold him in my arms as I stroke his soft and fluffy fur in my hands. Besides the noise outside, it's still a good morning. Cody turns his head and smothers my faces with little kisses. I giggle silently as he pries out of my hands and continues licking me. I push him away and scratch behind his ear.

"Good boy" I whisper.

I decide to find out what's going on outside and jump out of bed. Cody jumps down the other side and trails behind me. I walk towards the door and put my ear against the cool wood and listen to what was going on. At first I heard shouts of mumbling, clattering of dishes and the smell of cleaning supplies coming from the door. Voices began to come closer.

"I can't believe he's coming! It's been so long!" Says a women passing by. Then another voice comes toward the door from the right.

"Why are you guys just standing there?! Go! Move! He'll be here in 2 hours! And you! Kitchen! Now!"

Feet were moving up and down the hallway, running, walking, maybe even sprinting to get where they needed to go. I peel my ear off the door and open it to see what was all the commotion. It was literally madness running through the halls. People were pushing, shoving, falling, stumbling, everything! It was chaos. No one was in Jack's hall which was really long for just leading to his office and bed room. I needed to know what was going on. I took a step forward but quickly retracted it after someone had quickly stepped on it without apologizing. Ass.

Cody whimpered as he also tried to get across without getting trampled on. I felt sorry for him and picked him up in my arms so he would at least be safe. I looked for someone who was on the somewhat of doing nothing. I looked over the millions of people passing by and saw two people in conversation with each other on the other side of the hall. I think this is the best ill probably get because no one else was going to bother to talk to me so I might as well go over. I found an empty space in the trafficked hallway and took it. I crossed over and exhale air that I didn't know I held in. Who ever is coming over must be really damn important for this stampede.

I then concentrate on who I was talking to and realized that this person was talking to the one and only Brianna. I don't want to deal with this today. But I'm not going to think of her like that. I'm just going to have a nice convo as to what the hell is going on. That's it. No drama. I gain the courage to go over their and walk toward them. Brianna doesn't notice me yet, thank god. But as I was getting closer, she saw me over the guys shoulder. She instantly gave me a death glare as I came closer. No drama, Crystal, no drama. I tapped on the guys shoulder and he gladly turned around. The guy looked attractive. He had bright blue eyes, fluffy curly chestnut hair, and was well fit. His features on him looked really sweet and kind, like he couldn't harm a fly.

"Hi, wha....."

He stopped when he saw me and stood there, his eyes wide. It took him time to compose himself to speak without a stutter until he spoke.

"Uh, hi. I'm Lance. And You are very beautiful." He says cheekily as he smiles crookedly. Dimples then start to form as he smiled wider. Not a first.

"I'm Crystal, nice to meet you." I say politely.

"I was wondering what was going on? Why is everyone in a rush this morning?" I ask.
